    Powerflex

The old version was about £10 - 12 per bush, now they're £25! If you see a set on eBay for £40 - 50, it's guaranteed to be the old one :)

    Best 182 car battery?

This thread from the other day might come in useful. http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?669818-which-battery-is-best-to-buy

which battery is best to buy?

They're the exact same thing (same factory), just a different label - and of course a higher price.

which battery is best to buy?

I just took one of those Exide ones off mine (not that there was any problem with it) and put a Varta Silver Dynamic (C6, 52Ah) on it - I believe they're the same as the Bosch S5. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271088001383

Fitting Coilovers resulting in Lighter Steering

My local formula one autocentre has a Hunters system and they did mine the other day after I'd fitted coilovers, ball joints, tie rod ends etc. They corrected the Toe but left the Camber on -1º 14' and -1º 35'. :/ I believe standard for a 172 Mk2 is around -0º 15' to -0º 20' or something? It...

HELP! Sourcing 172 rear abs sensors...

If you don't already have the part numbers, I believe they're 6000073527 and 6000073528. They're about £117 each according to Dialogys.

Little help from someone with dialogys please

For the benefit of people arriving at this thread via a search (as I just did), the correct part number for these bits is actually 8200143718 and I just got a couple @ £1.73 each :)

    Steering Wheel Re-trimmed

Is the stitching on the thumb grips an optional thing or is that the only way they can be done? Amazing job though, now it's the centre/airbag bit that's letting the side down!

    alternative to powerflex?

Powerflex have revised their wishbone kit since most of the threads saying 'bad things' about them were created. They now have thicker outer sleeves, harder bushes, and washers to sit between the bushes and the chassis. I'm hoping those tweaks will make them an actual upgrade to (or at least...

Purpose of extra washer with Bilstein B14 (Clio 172 Ph2) rear damper?

I installed the rear set of spring/dampers from my Bilstein B14 kit today and now I'm wondering if I made a mistake. The dampers themselves seem to come assembled, with the blue plastic bit covering up a curved (as in 'not flat') washer and the bump stop.... but then there's a loose washer in...

    Powerflex inner arb bushes

I've got the newest version of the wishbone pack, it's a bit different now I think as you put washers on the ends. I don't do welding so fingers crossed they'll be ok.

    Powerflex inner arb bushes

I haven't even looked at the inner bushes (and can't find any pics of them from under the car) but can I assume the 'bottle jack' method in guide linked below only works for the outer ones? http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?629224-clio-172-front-ARB-bushes-(very-easy) That's the...
