Needs just a tad more customisation maybe. Those big icons are currently giving me some fear. I'll get over it.
Home screen is far too busy, I keep the bare minimum on mine. Inb4 nerd comments, I know lol

It's actually had some grief this camera on the s24U. This was portrait mode 1x night mode I think. Ignore the blue and zoom the subject. That s**t is insane for essentially the worst possible scene and mode.

Simple FTW.

One page only too. Can't be doing with swiping and folders.

Tap settings for quick access to different apps and I occasionally use the side bar when I remember about it.

Might buy an icon pack so I can have the icons one colour.

Pretty cool things. So thin! You can pick up a one plus open for under a gran now!

Oh and anyone into one plus in years gone past, the one plus 12 is getting race reviews! Impressive for a modern slab phone.

Has wireless charging always been this bad? My only experience with it so far has been with a wireless charging mount I have in the car to keep the battery topped up on long journeys while streaming music and using the sat nav, but I recently purchased one to put on my desk and it's nowhere near as good as I was hoping.

I downloaded the Ampere app to see why it was so slow and it turns out that even though my phone apparently supports 15W fast wireless charging, it only draws 6W from the charger. If I plug my phone into a 10W wired charger it draws 7.5W, meaning even an ancient 10W wall charger is 25% faster than the most powerful wireless charger my phone can use. I've tested the wireless pad with every charger I own (10W, 25W, and 45W) and all of them result in my phone drawing exactly 6W.

Genuinely considering returning the wireless charger and just getting one of those magnetic cable things to prevent my charging port wearing out.

You probably need to go in to Settings-Battery-Charging Settings and enable fast charging/Wireless Charging.

Odd, never had an issue with my S10 or 24. Always says it's fast charging soon as I put it on or plug it in. Maybe the battery needs replacing.
That's the thing, it says fast charging when it's drawing 6W. The old standard for fast wireless used to be 10W so I assume anything above 5W will trigger that message.

Even the plug in one on my last phone comes up supernatural charging which was 45w iirc. I charge wireless at night at 10w. I don't it at 100% at 1am. Gets charged every night.

You using a quality charger or cheap knock off?

All chargers are genuine Samsung, and I've tried a Xiaomi 20W wireless charging stand and a genuine Samsung 15W wireless pad.
All the chargers work properly when plugged directly into the phone, it's just really weird that when plugged into the wireless pads the phone only draws 6W. I can understand the 10W charger combined with the charging pad giving that result as it's not powerful enough to provide 15W to the pad, it's just weird that using more powerful chargers doesn't result in faster charging.

I never get a fast charging notification on my S22U regardless of what I'm using to charge it (even though it's selected in the options).
The Huawei used to tell me it was super fast charging.

That's weird. All mine have done it and it says superfast charging with the newer style USB charger/cable. Properly quick.

For what it's worth my s22u charges dead slow on it but that's fine with me

I wireless charge it overnight and takes 4 hours but that's fine as it's overnight.

I quite like how it slow charges as I assume that's better for the battery health, im coming up to 2 years now and the battery is still absolutely spot on and the charge port is as you'd expect... Miiiint

I'm terrible at charging my phone regularly. I'll look at it 20 minutes before I leave the house and realise I've got about 15% battery, so throwing it on a super fast charger is great.

I knew the wireless one wouldn't be as fast but I wasn't expecting it to be slower than the charger I got with my Galaxy S8 many many years ago 🤣

Are charger ports wearing out still a thing?

Bit of a piss take if so because that means the EU have forced Apple to use a connection that isn’t as durable as what they already had.

What's stopping you just having the wireless charger at the side of your bed and sticking it on that every night like what I do out of interest?

I wirelessly charge my phones the last few years for this reasons..

Save the ports..

These phones are purposely made to be difficult to repair, in apples case remove functionality.. Gotta make them last.

My s22 battery is diabolical. Don't think I've used it out of battery saver mode for the past 2 years because it only lasts half a day otherwise.

It only came out 2 years ago? Is it the standard s22? Exynos chip and a small battery rarely goes well. The standard s23 was pretty good for the size.

Ignoring the case thickness, I love that flat screen. Biggest improvement, especially that anti reflective coating. Massive difference.

Battery could do two days if required. Especially with that new Snapdragon chip over the exynous.

Could do with a smart watch (android). Had a quick look but wondered any recommendations new or used around the £100. Decent battery etc.
