That is what I'm saying, got to be at least a 3 month delay. They won't dare risk delivering this full of bugs.

I'll be surprised if it isn't full of bugs because all big games seem to come like that these days but Rockstar maybe an exception so we can hope.

They could probably get away with a fair number of bugs, if they released the single player game first.
RDR2 did that I think? The multiplayer mode came along later.

Bugs get more problematic in multiplayer mode, where people use them to gain an advantage.

It was disappointing to hear but in hindsight probably expected. Especially given that there hasn’t even been the second trailer released yet, so for the game to be released only a few months away didn’t really add up.

I do wonder if they’re going to throttle the game a tad, given that the PS6 is expected in 2026/2027, so that they’ve got more scope for the next gen version.

Doubt it. They didn’t with 5, they released it on the 360 then brought out a Xbox one version out a couple of years later instead of holding out for the next gen console. Most people (myself included) bought both versions doubling their income.

I probably worded that wrong, I meant do as they did with 5 to coincide with the next gen release. i.e release it at 90% of its potential so they can warrant the 100% / next gen version also.

That would be cool as hell if they did and well deserved too as some of the stuff the modders did to update the graphics are quite frankly unreal!
