@Gray We are meant to be saving money to start a family, so even harder to justify to the other half. Worst case is I use my motorbike for commuting to work and this can be used for long haul journeys for holidays etc

My car will be due for some discs and pads shortly. Autodoc had an offer of 40% off discs last week so took the opportunity to get the front ordered, now I know 370mm is big but when you see the size of the box they come in you can't help but laugh....scale against an iPad

I liked our diesel GLC, i like my C63. A b*****d child of the two would be sublime.

C43 motor is a peach too.

We were initially looking at Porsche Macans, our budget only allowed us to look at the first generation. After discovering on YouTube that the front end of the car needs dismantling even to replace an auxiliary belt pulley, I soon sacked that idea off!

With the 2.9 V6 generation, this issue went away as they put a bit of room between the rad pack and engine to get stuff for maintenance.

I like a Macan and the owner of the company I work for has had a couple. One however had a gearbox issue just outside of warranty which was somehting like a £8k bill. It has done less than 30k too.

Our GLC was perfect in the 4 years we had it other than an adblue fault because diesel.

My old man had a C43 which was 100% reliable too. The 43 lump in the GLC must be a great combo.
