Could be wrong, but replaced items get a whole new warranty.

Repaired items, the warranty carries on with the original warranty period.

just had a looking again on the warranty website and they've updated the original battery with the new serial number
Mine did that, updated the old one to the new serial number and then the warranty still has the same expiration

Can see why they do it but surely if you're warrantying things they should have minimum 12 months anyway

If you something towards you get a new a warranty iirc. Well that’s how it used to work at Audi anyway.

Due to this thread I'm now on 4th red purchase plus batteries. I've now got to trim down wooden door by about 10-15mm due to new carpets. Any recommendations what tool? Circular saw best, could it be down with multitool which id find more uses for later?

been watching this bloke for a bit, hes not a fan of milwaukee!

Seen a few of his videos.

Can see why he doesn't like them for parts availability, but there must be an element of user at fault for some of the ones he gets in as they're a right state.

Goes on about a 1 year warranty all the time too 🤔

The problem with FFX was they were selling tools at cost and running the business on the quarterly rebates they would get from manufacturers for ordering say £2m of goods in that quarter, the s**t hit the fan when some of the rebates weren't paid on time and they were getting chased from other suppliers for payment, so it's not surprising that anyone taking it over will want to increase prices to stop it happing again.

Just had a look last thing I ordered from FFX was a pair of snickers trousers £62 in the summer.. now £90! That’s quite a big difference.. but yeah sounds like a bad business model shame.
