Anyone installed a oil catch can to there 172/182 with the standard inlets and not throttle bodies etc?.

Merry Christmas
For Christmas i got a set of copper nuts,which i thought would like nice against the anthracite wheels.Fitted one corner this morning to see what they look like,just wondering on how long they will keep to the copper colour.I have gave them a little coat of acf also.
There a bit smaller than the other nuts i have on,19 and copper are now 17.

Was on my christmas list,i just have my doubts on how long they will stay like that.I have gave them a coat in acf,so will prob have to do that each time i wash the wheels.
I did have a mate on instagram who had them and they went all crap after using wheel cleaner on them,but i tend to only really spray wheel cleaner on the spokes.

Anyone gone from a normal battery to a lightweight batt and not for a track car?.
Possibly looking to get a lightweight batt fitted,as looks much better on the engine bay and also frees up space etc.Alex White and Nick have one fitted to there clios and runs fine with no need to keep on charge etc.

I relocated a smaller battery in the boot and in all honesty, not worth the hassle. Bit of a ball ache to fit imho, running a cable though the bulkhead and under carpet, fitting a whopping fuse in line etc. That said, the car was doing my head in at the time! The battery died after not using it for 2 weeks, I bought a CTEK charger which saved it and did maintain it when it was on charge.
So another thing to consider if you do go for a smaller battery is the ability to keep it on charge, do you have a garage driveway where you can run a charger?
IF you did want to relocate the battery, then go for a normal size battery, that way you'll have no fear of it not starting after a few days.

I See what your saying about putting the battery in the boot,it is a lot of hassle and then having a big lump in the back which will just look ugly.
Tempted with the small batt in the front still tho,spoken to my Renault Specialist and he has one in his 182 runabout along with Nick who works with him and both never had any probs.I guess if in the front it can be easily changed if i dont get on with it @bowen86

2010 Clio 200 Cup
I've had a pc680 in my 200 for a few years, only recently where it's not being driven for long periods of time am I finding the battery dead.
When It was being used more regularly I had no issues at all, just sounded slightly lazier when cranking on startup.
If you're going to be using it more than a few times a month it'll be fine

Make a plate to fit to the gearbox mount in the bay? That was what my intentions were when I was thinking about it, along with a negative terminal cut off. Similar has been done by a few already

I need a new battery on my 182 track car was looking at race battery's? Car only gets used ocasionaly on track od day on road. I know they like to be kept in use or go flat easy. I have a solar trickle charger which can leave plugged in. What would people go for and are they easy to mount if...
