Went to the Moulsdale place yesterday.
Can't say I'd recommend it for the cost but they must make a killing with the numbers that go each time,
Lots of meh and only a handful of actual cool/interesting stuff IMO. Plus he's got a weird hard on for Ducati and several of the same things. Better watching Johnny Smiths video.
Lot of the newer modern stuff is super low/delievery miles and will probably never be used. AFAIK the 2RS came straight from Porsche

What exactly is going on when that happens? i.e. how is it running / revving for a while before grenading itself? I'd always assumed that hydrolocking was just instantly lethal to an engine.

I figured it was something like that but it always seems to happen ages after they've left the water. I'd have assumed everything would be set up to drain away from the engine pretty quickly, not to keep feeding water into it.

Would normally be on the slam panel, just to the left of the bonnet catch as you look at the front of the car, so it's missing.
I dread to think how many MK1/2 Escorts out there are ringers. So many have been rebuilt using bits of other shells, or had old IDs put on to the new, Chinese bodies.

Wouldn’t matter too much I imagine although your leads and whatever cable that is would def be in the way.
Just noticed the front grill in the back of the mk1, might try and get that for no reason at all 😂
