From what I've read. With the right combination (197cams+7-8 inlet advance or Grp-N timing on standard cams) RS2's tend to sacrifice the peak torque figure, but will flatten and extended the torque over a much wider range.
Typically a standard f4r 730-738 makes peak torque around 5000-5300rpm. An RS2 equipped unit will make close to peak torque from 2500 to 6500. Though this is probably tuner dependent.

It is also advised to change out to 197/200 or 225 injectors due to duty cycle limitations on standard units.
ARP rod bolts definitely wouldn't hurt either.

I've heard the RS2 doesn't agree well with some off the shelf cams. As the inlet was designed to maximise the internally standard engine.

Got a RS2 sitting in the garage waiting in the wind. So would like to hear from people and their past experiences.

Put in some time this weekend on the JMS Inlet.

The manifold looked like it was painted with a brush, so I started to strip it.

Under the thick black was thick red. FML.

It beat me and I've dropped it for vapor blasting.

The aluminium which was anodised blue, which isn't the worst colour considering the colour of the car, but it wasn't for me.

@frayz came through with the great idea of applying some bleach to remove the colour.

Trumpet panel had the same treatment.

Needs more work, but you get the idea.

In terms of what's needed or what I plan to add with the RS2 inlet. I'm in conversation with James who made and has the RS inlet on his Clio. At the very minimum a 182 Manifold and map.
