From what I've read. With the right combination (197cams+7-8 inlet advance or Grp-N timing on standard cams) RS2's tend to sacrifice the peak torque figure, but will flatten and extended the torque over a much wider range.
Typically a standard f4r 730-738 makes peak torque around 5000-5300rpm. An RS2 equipped unit will make close to peak torque from 2500 to 6500. Though this is probably tuner dependent.

It is also advised to change out to 197/200 or 225 injectors due to duty cycle limitations on standard units.
ARP rod bolts definitely wouldn't hurt either.

I've heard the RS2 doesn't agree well with some off the shelf cams. As the inlet was designed to maximise the internally standard engine.

Got a RS2 sitting in the garage waiting in the wind. So would like to hear from people and their past experiences.
