Seen this a few times before, never noticed the brakes. Were these standard?

OssPoop · Sep 27, 2026

Yep brakes were standard fit.

thecrim22 · Sep 27, 2026

Seen this a few times and believe @Aaron.. Spotted it recently going to the aquarium as well, looks so good!

No idea how they get up a curb without absolutely thrashing the car though

Willo40 · Tuesday at 4:28 PM

I love them, but always felt the exhausts look a bit awkward.

As do the headlights, doors, front bumper and bonnet but I think it really adds to their character, especially in a funky colour like this.

I spotted a bright orange one today out and about. Bloody love a TVR.

I would love a Chimaera but I would definitely need an indoor parking space and fully kitted out garage to own that first

helpimonfire · 2026-10-03T12:22:12+0100

Not overly interesting but the owner has been using this a lot this summer, seen it loads of times.

Midas kit car, based on running gear from a Mini/Metro I believe?

My old neighbour had one of these rotting on his driveway a good few years back. Odd looking thing.

Tim. · 2026-10-03T14:07:29+0100

What is this?

R3k1355 · 2026-10-03T14:10:19+0100

It looks like one of the MX5 kits?

f**king ugly, that’s what it is.

It’s based on a 1960 MGA according to the reg.

Got a soft spot for those, lovely.

Oggy997 · 2026-10-03T21:53:28+0100

I'm not one for taking good photos, but recently we drove through europe, stopped off to view some palace in Hungary & happened on some classic car show in the grounds.

Oggy997 · 2026-10-03T21:55:03+0100

Clocked this in my mirrors on the way to that palace, easily identified - though it was seemingly not going there as we didn't see it.

Spotted this today, what a beautiful motor it is. Lovely from every angle!

(Unsure if the V8 or A45 2.0 unit)

Same, they’re a lovely looking car. Unfortunately this one was an auto by the sounds of it.

OssPoop · 2026-10-04T19:53:19+0100

I spotted a black phase 1 172 at Meadowhall today. Can't remember the last time I saw one.

I like these, but isn't that a weird caliper placement on the rear? Looks like it's fallen down.
