Have a look at step 4 the middle picture. You can see the part sitting on the top of the disc/abs ring.

There should be another part that looks like a big washer and is tapered on one side. Are you sure its not on the back of your old disc?
Note on your original post you stated "bearing going" Did it actually fail or just get noisy. If it failed the spacer/washer may have snapped and fallen away.
Have tried to get on and download the new maps this evening but keep getting an error message. Anyone else managed to get them yet or had difficulty with the store?
Think you may find whatever you drive premiums are on the increase. Was talking to a mate yesterday who just got the renewal on his 5 year old Bora diesel. Up from £450 to £700.
Lots of phone calls and managed to get it down to £500 but that was the best he could do.
Apparently if you lock the doors too quickly after shutting down the engine there is some issue between the ECU and alarm communicating so you get the three beeps. Just unlock and re-lock and all is good.
Just a thought but should this question not have been asked before you bought one?
Sure someone that owns one will be along with some useful advise soon.
Enjoy your new car.
As above had mine off this week to fix a leaking headlamp washer. No need to jack the car. Mine is on Sportlines so a little lower than standard as well. The guide is very easy to follow so worth the membership fee. Only advise I have is when pulling the bumper off the clips at the wing don't be...
Yes that was me.
Too late for a flash and wave as I was admiring the 'red shed'. Saw you in the distance driving away from me as I passed the petrol station hence the surprise when I then saw you coming back towards me.
Very nice car and well done for spotting the sticker.
There were a few faulty kits knocking about last year that led to a well respected trader on here recalling several cars to have a full replacement kit fitted. Who supplied the kit and how long had they had it?
All seen within 5 minutes at around 1:30pm
Yellow 200 on the A414 out of Hertford towards the A10.
Blue 172 Cup in Hertford.
Blue 182 coming out of WGC towards Hertford.
I was in "The Bean"
Just clicked on the first link and the pictures say it all. Interior shots are taken from two different cars. First appears to have Recaro seats fitted second has standard.
Technically no as your car is not roadworthy hence failing the MOT. As earlier stated the fact you have failed = the current MOT no longer being valid. To be honest chances of you being stopped is nil.
Blue 172 cup with silver Turini's on the back of a recovery truck at about 2pm today.
Had a decent bump on the front off side. :(
Anyone have a confession to make.:o
