Are you serious?
I agree that in this instance there were several other options open to the cop that could have achieved the same outcome. He may or may not have considered them. Again only he can answer that question.
You may want to watch again. Your idea of restrained and mine are clearly very different.
1st cop has hold of his right wrist and is pulling him out of the car. Lets go and starts grabbing for his other wrist.
Driver goes into a foetal position covering his face because he's scared or pulls his...
1. I don't disagree with your stance. Assaulting someone for no reason and without justification is against the law regardless of if you are a cop or plain joe public.
In this instance however unless you know the full story you can't make an informed decision on what was and wasn't...
Having watched Danny at 519 getting mine free on Tuesday I don't think I could ever have done it on axle stands.
Even stood under the car with a not unsubstantial hammer it took several good smacks to get it to move followed by several more with a punch to get it out completely.
I'd put money on them having pinched the HT lead between the plenum and rocker cover when putting the plenum back on.
Ask them to cover the cost of replacement. Were there any running issues when you took it in?
I had the same problem. It's not threaded and I read that heating the hub around the pinch bolt can help.
I have opted for the safer option and its off to Danny at 519Automotive tomorrow.
Why would Fred/BTM be foolish to start a new partnership with them?
1. The product JP build has a good following and is renowned for its quality so is not difficult to sell. (Win for Fred)
2. Fred has hero/god status with Clio owners and is the ideal outlet for the product. (Win for JP)
3. As a...
Quick search and got this. Not tested by me so at your own risk.

Buy the best you can afford.
If cost is a consideration 195's will be less expensive than 205's.
I personally have Pilot Sport 3's and they are excellent. Perhaps thats why the are the most expensive.
I run V12 evos on the wife's car and for the money they are unbeatable IMO.
Having attempted to polish mine I would offer the following advise.
Paint it.
Unless you get it done by a pro it will take you hours and hours to get a mediocre finish.
New glass + digitiser £75.
Heat/warm the glass on the old screen to release the adhesive and lift off.
Sounds easy but you can bet its anything but.
Couple of screws and two ribbon connections and assembly is reverse of removal.
I'd take it to apple.
I believe Tom was looking into this before JMS closed. The manifold was never designed to be subjected to + pressure so was untested in that respect.
I don't think it even got beyond finding a way to mount the MAP/Inlet Temp sensor so it wasn't immediately blown out once + pressure was achieved.
Well worth £200.
I gave £250 for a set in need of a refurb last year.
If you can get them mint for under £500 you will always get your £££ back if you need to sell them on.
Are they Renault or Speedline? Makes a small difference to the value IMO.
You will have two options,
1. Purchase some Clio specific subframes from Recaro for lots of ££££££
2. Fabricate some subframes yourself / get someone to fabricate some for you.
And yes you can/will use your existing runners.
Interesting. I'm having Infinity installed next week and my plan was to junk the Home Hub and connect straight to my Time Machine. I assume it will work exactly the same.
Agree on price but unfortunately I have no other option unless I keep my current 1MB (on a good day) broadband connection.
If it's in warranty I assume its an iPhone 4 or 4s.
Cheapest fix is to buy a replacement back off the bay/amazon etc and replace it yourself.
It's only two screws and it slides up and off.
Will take you less than 30 seconds.
First hit on eBay...
You can take the four bolts off inside the car and leave the runners attached to the floor. Not sure how much extra work is involved in accessing the bolts due to plastic trim etc.
Because some of us would prefer to buy from a trusted trader and pay a small premium for the extra service and peace of mind.
See you on the 19th when I will be ordering a set if they perform as well as you say. :D
Who did you use? Arran off the forum (Not sure he's still doing them)
How Long did it take? About a week
How much did you pay? £150
Are you happy with the result, is there anything you wished you'd done differently? Very happy & No
The Colour difference between the wheel and airbag is...
Fitted new OEM discs and pads on the rear.
Started painting up the spare inlet matte black to match the fuel rail guard. Hope to get them fitted next week.
Totally stripped down the rear brakes in order to diagnose a slight low speed knock under braking.
Would appear it's the n/s bearing so put it all back together and ordered new discs from Tom at Wests.
Also fitted my freshly painted fuel rail cover.
