I'd get a ph1 172 if I was in your shoes. I quite like the front end (bit more aggressive) and much prefer the wheels to the ph2 5-spokes. Also you get cable throttle rather than drive by wire (supposed to be better) and the ph1 is lighter.
The only downside is the interior but I could live...
Hi welcome to CS :D
Not a bad price. IMO depending on condition you could probably go lower.
I got mine in June for £6150; one lady owner, 33000 miles (had its 36k service), full Renault service history, 52 plate, standard car. They were asking £6750. It was'nt in A1 condition (few dings...
How do you know how much you've spent on fuel? Just taken an average over a couple of months and multiplied? (I hope you ain't kept reciepts!)
What milage were the dampers replaced?
Cool post :approve:
Yes. But what is the 'vinegar stroke'? Am I missing out on something?
Close escape there Roy. My old man filled up a Corolla with diesel on a family holiday in France a few years ago. It did'nt like it
It does'nt warrant the price, thats the thing! lol v. expensive
Its widely regarded (on here anyhow) as one of the best off the shelf induction mod's. I'm not exactly sure what makes it so good (guess they spent alot on development, hence the price) Think you need a remap to take full...
I like those numbers :approve: Hmmm....I'm starting to get seriously tempted by one of these (and I said I'd leave her standard!)
I take it you mean ITG maxogen by that air filter comment? Its a little more than an air filter ;) . It is expensive though, your right. ITG panel filter is only...
I would'nt go that far :o (Sorry I'm bored)
Really like your car actually Maz. Arctic Blue/anthrite alloys is a good combo - really sets off the wheels IMO - and the ride height looks spot on :approve:
Saw it's for sale; if I was in the market for an RS Clio now I would be seriously tempted
LOL Thats a good analogy! Depends if you want style over substance I suppose.
The Tosh does look better than alot of flat screen TV's though, but not as good as the Samsung models. I wanted a black one - so it does tick that box at least
For real? So say your car's stolen, they can choose not to pay out? Or do you mean only in cases where the owner is deemed at fault? - eg. Crashed car on a wet roundabout
Well if they've agreed to insure it (I assume repaired Cat C/D's are insurable?!) are'nt they obliged to pay out? Sure, they may be quite likely just to write the poor car off again! But thats part of the risk you take for a cheaper car.
