Hi Guys.
Here is my dilemma. I have 172ph2 inlet. With aftermarket cable throttle body. With DTA s60 ECU. What’s the best way to control my idle?
Solution 1, get ph1 idle valve, drill hole in the inlet, job done. ?
Solution 2? ....
any ideas are welcome.
Would something like this work...
I would say second one more likely. Gas pedal has to be big to do heel&tow. brake can be smaller. Basically what ever feels comfortable I would say. Maybe try clutch, brake small and gas big? The gap between brake and clutch is more important than the size.
This is what I did with mine: I also...
Made a start on the engine loom yesterday.
Set up a peg board with all the dimensions for all the sensors. Pretty happy so far.

Hi lads. Started on the loom today. Quick question, are the sensors one sides or not? Most have 2 wires like air temp, water temp, oil temp etc. They have a 5v/12v feed and signal to ecu. Does it mater what pin goes to what like and LED bulb? Or like a normal light bulb?

Did a bit more weigh saving. Somebody on Facebook asked me why do I still have the original steering column mount/bracket.. I honestly did not know how to answer that so decided I don’t need it [emoji23]
Also a bit more cooling for the engine bay.. because why not..
Oh oh and this arrived...

Bought it from Templarperformance.co.uk
But had to trim the fronts as they were meant for steel doors, not fiber glass.
wasted a bit of cash there as could have just bought flat sheets and the sliders separately, but hey ho. live and learn

Thanks for this buddy! I have used my oven before. It does stink a bit. But I have huge patio doors and had large industrial fan blowing air as well. Did it while wife was at work and she dint even notice the smell. I did run the oven at max temp for 30-40 after to kill of the smell and gave it...
Thanks buddy. The only issue with wrinkle is that it don’t fit in my oven. Either have to make a box to serve as an oven or else.
And yes I have ordered one of this: will bond it inside the bumper and paint same colour as the car should be seemless. Directly under the headlight.

So finally all glass except for windscreen is now in.
A little neater than rears. Used 4mm black rivers as well. Love black rivers! Unsurprising how rear quarters take 2 tubes of sealant each! But fronts only half each.
And riveted door cards as well. This are light weight 3mm panels.

We are still in June right? Time flies!
Been busy trying to get all the small jobs done before ECU gets here. Painted and fitted few trim pieces.
Door trims, I cut of original fixings and simply attached with some self tappers
After that fitted bumper holding pins.
2 on each side and 2 in...
