Brakes dont really get comparably hot with road use.
Another pad to consider is the PBS ProTrack which are only £100. They have a bit nicer pedal feel to the Ferodo and Mintex we sell.
I'm going to pick up on a few words.
You are new to trackdays so I'm going to say dont bother with a cage for the moment.
If you primarily use your car on the road a cage, bucket seats and harnesses just becomes annoying. I did this once and wouldnt go back.
Get some laps under your belt. Then...
I think you are disagreeing lol
I upgrade the back. If the suspension is not too soft you get a benefit. I find the chassis more stable and doesnt work the front brakes as much as bias is not pushed forward. I'm going more aggressive on the rear of the Clio with its race suspension set up to try...
Theres a company that have just done a kit with a small garrett turbo. Hybrid Tune I think is the company. Was looking good on price
£1799 plus VAT for the kit and £200 + vat for the mapping.
We carry it in stock. The easiest to apply is the spray as it mists nicely over everything. The bigger bottles spray thicker and you then need to wipe over the parts to coat. If you need some Renault parts as well we can sort it in the one box. Theres also Corrosion block which is their thicker...
I forget the name of it to be honest. Its not been sold for a while now. Good idea with the detail. Looks to be a step up from the other design which I dont think had that tightness of tolerance.
They keep dirt out generally. I use them in combination with ACF-50 or Corrosion block. Double protection.
You want to give everything a good clean after winter though or if you've accidently crashed into a field...
If you are happy with the current system why dont you get it cut back to nearer the silencer and then get some custom removable tail trims - you can then have a different set for your mood - like pairs of shoes...
This is the reason I went for the Bridgecraft one. When we were looking into doing similar this is the issue we stopped on. We tried to work out a method to do it without machining but didnt come up with a cost effective solution. I forget the other that went on the market a few years back but...
I'm paying £185 a month for a 5 year old BMW 328i - I wanted more car than what I could afford on a new car but I can see the added benefits of inclusive perks
The kids love it as you can kick it out of junctions slightly sideways in sports mode and it drives well so suits what I need. Downside...
Everything is built to a price. I'd imagine the average Clio owner would not pay whatever that comes in at. I'd hope that the original Porsche gearlever feel was better than a clio with a PMS shifter let alone that...
If you want to improve massively on the PMS then you have to ditch the Clio gearbox. Its like stiring porridge compared to most japanese performance cars. Any kit that hard links the gearbox to the lever will find the vibration issue I think as its the link to the gearbox itself thats the...
Short of getting dog cut gears you are not going to find time smashing through gears. You will find a rebuild bill though.
Smooth unrushed precision is the order of the day.
I think the seats look decent. I’d want to get them retrimmed to match the rest of the car
I can help with brakes. I’ve got a few options for pads and plain Brembo discs are dirt cheap

For plastics there’s plenty of cars being broken for parts. Everything you need will be...
No...all valid reasons. I didnt have those luxuries to start with so lost nothing.
I forget no company ever really got a road kit ever figured out.
I have a tb'ed 205 at work so might give it a start up for nostalgic sounds lol
Cooling is important. It lowers pad and disc wear.
Largely cheap cars get cheap brakes. Its a mentality thats hard to shake and the justification is not always correct.
The rear helps enough that its worth using if you like being the last to brake. Helps stabilise the car too.
CTR you ideally...
