euro do the bottom swivel joint. if you do the joint on it's own be careful, i've had a couple of hubs that have cracked even though the joint was going in fine.
we got a set of M1177 for my lads twiglet, £30 delivered off ebay ao thought we'd give them a try. initial bite is ok, feel like a good but standard pad, keep the same pressure on and after about half a second they are awesome!! i'd say better than ds1.11 but with the added advantage that you...
to do 250bhp must of only been running a couple of psi boost?
once i've caught up on everything we will be looking for a cheap 197 to have a play with, 7-8psi should see it to close on 300bhp but with them having s**t...sorry...low torque that should be pretty safe at not much over 210lb/ft
Not a fan of the rotrex, especially the bloody price!!!!!!! If I was doing one I'd go with a nice big eaton, weld the silencer holes and have something that sounds like a supercharger should do
personally i wouldn't use a 225 engine, use the 197, swap cams and low boost it. you'd then end up with a boosted car that was still a bit of a screamer
fitted a 4 pot kit that came with hawk pads once, can't remember what ones the were but they were the worst pads i've ever used in my entire life, to say they were dangerous is an understatement!!!!!!!! how anyone could make a pad that was so bad is beyond belief.
Look at the price for pads for the two and then look at the weight difference as well, that should make your mind up for you ;)
Plus wilwood offer about 20 different colours!!
I've seen dozens of cars that have had valve damage not long after a belt change that haven't had bottom bolt torque properly.
For the cost of one if someone doesn't mind paying then it's worth it even just for piece of mind.
Guessing it's one of the digital ones?
Pain in the arse!!! Hand grip moves as you are using it and causes them to power down a lot.
Save your money and get something else.
