Yep definitely catch up soon - give us a shout some time.
Nope, will be getting the guys at Ergen Motorsport in Fareham to do it all. Not sure if you have heard of them, BMW and motorsport specialists, but I get on well with the owner there and they do the work on all of my cars - very...
Can't decide which to go for on my Titanium Ph1?
Always liked the Trophy spoiler (had one on both my 182s) but not sure if it is too much for the Ph1?
What do you think? Opinions?
Was looking at purchasing an RS stamped lower inlet and upper inlet which have already been shot blasted and painted.
However, not sure if the upper inlet is from a 172 or 182.
My car is a Ph1 172.
If I am correct, lower RS inlet will fit as a straight swap?
But are the upper inlets...
All the suspension parts will be getting fitted a week Tuesday (28th May)!
Pictures of all the parts below ready to be fitted. Only thing I don't have yet are the Cooksport springs, should be arriving later this coming week fingers crossed.
Cup shocks (front)
Cup shocks (rear)
Cup wishbones...
Yes titanium. And no plans to respray, was only joking! I love sunflower but wouldn't spray another Ph1 to get it to be sunflower.
Yes alcantara retrimmed steering wheel done by Snappy with the RenaultSport logo at the bottom. Feels nice, but I don't like the shape of the Ph1 wheel for...
Just ticked over 70k.
I agree, I’d absolutely love a sunflower one! They just never come up for sale.
Wonder how much a full respray would be....?
So, the Alfa 147 GTA was recently sold.
Time to take my full motorcycle test (hopefully next month), but I was also looking for a tidy 182 to get back into for a daily, to run alongside the bike.
But instead, came across a Ph1 172 in really nice condition, so I went for that ! Always wanted a...
Pleased to say the GTA was sold to a member on this forum (just needs to be collected). They are an enthusiast and the GTA is going to be very well looked after, which makes me happy.
Thanks mate. Passed my theory yesterday. CBT this Saturday. Then will be booking the DAS asap - hopefully end of May or if not then June. I'm going with Silver Bikes in Havant.
Good luck for your test too mate! Any idea on what bike you will get?
Regret saying this, but this has been advertised for sale.
You guys must think I'm mad! I think I am too!
Selling for reasons as explained in the ad (see Classifieds section).
Thanks mate. Yes you are right, the pictures really do not do the stance justice and just don't show how well the wheels fill the rear arches!
Pics all seem to be working. Nope, living in Southsea now bud. You still in Fareham?
Thanks mate! You still got the Megane?
Yep, you will notice in...
Hi guys,
Was feeling bored so thought I would start writing up a project thread on my current car… an Alfa 147 GTA.
Why a 147 GTA? Well, I remember at a young and very impressionable age, my dad coming home one day with an Alfa 164 3.0 V6 Super. The engine was mesmeric, I thought it sounded...
What options are there for fitting Recaro seats in a 182 which did not come with them from factory?
If I were to go with Trendlines from a Trophy or ones factory fitted to a 182, what else would also be needed?
The other option for me would be Sportster CS, but again, if these were purchased...
Had it's MOT today.
New set of rear brake pads were fitted (they were low).
Also got my new genuine lower arms fitted at the same time...
Now has an MOT until 12 April 2018, no advisories!
Sad news is the car is for sale. Just accepted an offer for a new job which I start in April, and...
No wasn't me mate.
I know of one other LY 182 which is sometimes parked down a road where my mate lives in Fareham. It has a cage and is on black Pro Race wheels. Might have been him (not sure he is on here though).
Yeah top mounts is another thing it could be. If you don't mind then that would be awesome if possible please mate, that's a very nice offer.
I have been thinking about fitting a new pair of genuine lower arms. Partly because these come with ball joints too. I normally only ever replace parts...
Cheers for the responses guys.
What would I need to look for in terms of exhaust knocking?
I am pretty adamant it is suspension/driveshaft related or something similar, just from when it does it, particularly coming off my drive. Difficult to explain but it doesn't seem like exhaust knock...
Right, hopefully looking for some help with a knocking noise I am getting guys.
It has pretty much been there in some way or another for about 6 months, and nobody seems to have gotten to the bottom of it.
Car went into Rentech back in September of last year, and was told the nearside...
Yep it is this one you want. Perfect fit. £13.85

You'll be happy with the 330mm.
If you have no luck with Opie, then you could always get it from this place instead, comes to just under £63 with delivery so an even better price...
http://www.europerformance.co.uk/pages/products/product_info.mhtml?product=326362;car=renaultclio
Went for 330mm, perfect size in my opinion.
I got mine from Opie Oils... http://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-91949-momo-racing-hub-boss-kit-mk7218r-renault-clio-clio-rs-twingo.aspx
With the ClioSport discount (10%) comes to about £63 which is a good price.
Nope I am not bothering with the cruise...
Nothing major to update on, but my OMP wheel and Momo boss kit arrived this week...
And then I managed to get round to fitting it today...
Looks better than it does in the pic. And has completely transformed the way the car drives/feels! Changing the wheel is something I always recommend...
Yep that is how it should be mate, that bigger centre spline at the top is the groove I was talking about which can only go on one way.
Glad you got it sorted.
Need a hand at all doing the wheel mate? Just shout if so.
Can't fathom how you have managed to end up with it like that though, as the steering wheel splines have a slight groove at 12 'o' clock so it can only go on one way. Unless by smashing it on you have managed to somehow do without the...
Looking very good mate, do like the Arctic Blue ones, and looks very tidy and well looked after. I ended up getting another 182 myself a couple of months back as I missed my old Black Gold one like crazy!
Would love those Brembo's for mine!
Look forward to seeing your updates. M3 is nice too.
