@Tomotek i cut a hole in the bulkhead below the wiper linkage and welded up a raised platform with the correct size hole for the bulkhead plug to locate into, it then allowed me to reuse the interior and engine bay plugs. I might have a picture, i'll have a look an stick it up if i do.
@ph-reebone I have that cage and I altered mine to go to the rear strut tops with a bar joining both struts and also triangulated through to the front strut towers. I'll be adding further triangulation to the rear beam mounts over winter
@Djw John as garry said above i have a silver ph1, had no plates on and full silver cage.
Yeah the gearbox was making a loud clunk when down changing into the hairpin so came in to have a look. gearbox oil all over the place so new box time. Has been whining all year so its been coming

I have seen this in the flesh before and its pretty rough. Also from the outing i seen it on knockhill from a performance point of view it was quite underwhelming (might not have been running properly though)
64mm internal diameter from memeory on the PH1 cable body, pcd for fixing holes is 70 something but cant remember the exact figure. I'll measure it if i remember later
I have found cleaning them makes no difference to the sticky throttle problem. The issue lies with the spring becoming tired and expanding, therefore rubbing on the plastic wheel the throttle cable goes around. If you look a the spring there is always a shiny slightly flat spot where it rubs...
There isn't from having a quick skim read, too much discrepancy in this thread. fuel an spec of cage being the main differences. Regarding the fuel weight you refer to as full fluids, nobody runs there car with a full tank when competing (unless endurance racing). Race weight is more akin to 1/4...
When i enquired i was told they were no longer available! Have since been looking for a rebuild kit with no luck. AT power have a suitable item but its £300 before you add a new TPS sensor
I have driven both, on the road and on track. Both are noticeably quicker than the standard clio, the turbo car is noticeably quicker than the ITB'd clio.
Would either be more fun on track, No would be my opinion. Although if i was to invest my money into either ITB's or turbo it would be Turbo...
