Im always keeping an eye on this thread but since getting an AB i have been reading every single update. Have to admit the v6 rep spoiler is a love hate relationship for me, sometimes i think it looks awesome and sometimes i think they dont suit. However the car does look amazing, and the...
Thanks bud, you recently got a 182 didnt you? pretty sure i saw your thread for it. Im thinking black and blue too, only issue is i might get some anthracite smoothed bullets and dont know if it will look wierd with the different colour cominations. Some pic searches is needed i think :smile...
So despite only having the car for just over a week, things have been done so thought I might as well start the progress thread.
After owning my 1.2 172 rep for 2 years, I decided come renewal time I needed something a little more comfortable and quicker. 182 was instantly out the window after...
i have seen a blue v6 quite a few times around hayling island/bedhampton area, dont know if it is said v6 though. Put a couple of spotted threads up but no reply so assuming he isnt on here
182's don't have one, you just get a can of tyre repair foam instead. Will get you a pic of the lookalike ones in a sec but yeah they work as a fully functional exhaust. If you just type 182 look exhaust in Google images you will see what I mean
The 182 exhaust wont fit on your DCI as you have a spare wheel in the way, however you can get 182 look alike ones which will fit. And i dont think the dial system can be upgraded with the climate control system as the dial uses cables whereas the climate control is plugged in. If that makes sense
if yours is black, i'd suggest trying to find a full kit off a black 172 as the colour is the same as the non sports, whereas the 182's are a different shade of black. Then as above then when you get your exhaust, make the cut outs yourself. Saving the need to get everything resprayed
The sport front bumper is wider than non sports so yeah in order to fit a 172/182 front bumper you will need to fit the wigs, side skirts and arch liners. I would suggest you get a 172 rear bumper aswell as it doenst have the twin cut out for the exhaust, unless you are planning to fit a 182...

Tbh the fitment on the kit isnt that bad.
The arch gaps great though 😂 and the fact its lime green
My car failed it's mot on Friday mate so I was hitching a ride from my Dad haha. Your car looked really well mate, when I saw it I thought it had to many choice modifications for it not too be on here
Just outside Waterlooville mate in Hambledon. Definatley drove past you in Waterlooville a...
Also saw him there, was about to make a spotted thread. My cousin also asked me if i saw "the light blue clio with the white stripe" so must have been you haha
Updateish
Will probably have 1 last update after this the thats it, car is going up for sale in 2 weeks so is full steam ahead. So going back a few weeks, my N/S coilover started leaking, and with the MOT due soon i needed to get a new one, luckily a fellow member on here had one in his garage...
I dont, the first pic is the standard shock that FK put in their coilover units, mine is leaking. I know how to remove it from the coilover unit but need to know if i buy a new shock such as the second pic, is it the same scenario where basically the insert is inside the shock unit so i can just...
wierd one i know
In need of a replacement shock for my front FK coilover as it is leaking and my MOT is soon. As with the coilover units, does anyone by any chance know if they just put the standard shock in a different housing if that makes sense?
