Take the PCB out of the key and check the buttons are still attached to the PCB first of all. Then try pressing them and if they click the problem is most likely wear to the plastic buttons on the key itself rather than the actual micro-switches
It is only instant if you add it to your networks and then prioritise it. Then your devices will use it over other networks automatically if they are unavailable.
@Ben- Yeah that's how mine is functioning (now) but I thought it would at least pull the contents of my current SMS on the iPhone...
Bring it in if you like, i'll fix it for you - Firstly you need to understand the problem so you should start by scoping the pedal tracks then scope the motor control signal... i'm betting it's nothing to do with faulty throttle bodies or pedal potentiometers though.

I'm already attending "Diesel Denial" classes Rob which I've been told is the hardest step. After that I've just got to remember which fuel pump to use but it won't be an easy thing to do.
That's not the key out of sync then (Not that it can go out of sync, they don't work that way) and you need the key pulling to bits to confirm a Microswitch failure. This can indeed be repaired
This is the only wax I use nowadays and occasionally I will bust out the Meguires Quick detailer but the NBP is simply brilliant, especially for the price, oh and that smell!
Really annoying that they've not added an upgrade path though seeing as they had one million people beta test and download six packages.
I was getting worried though at PB5 as battery life on my MBP when using AirPlay sucked... Like 3hrs suck!
That's bad news for you guys that used them for actual racing of true. Good news for us trackday drivers though as they'll be trying to get rid of stock
If like me you were on the beta program you will have to download the full install to remove the Feedback assistant and gain the full handover feature set
Hehehe - mines turned in to a money pit, mainly on account of me being a perfectionist.
The Cooksports will made it ride so much nicer than the standard Cup units (which are too crashy for me personally).
The sensors are the same yes but if it's not giving any reading then this is an issue, most likely wiring related. If however it was giving a constant voltage then this is right... Well, depending on the mV output.
I'm just sorry I can't get them fitted for you James. It's a lovely example of an RB to so be sure to put it up forsale on here to as I'm sure someone would take it off your hands.
Hey Paz, welcome - where in Leicester are you? Car sounds like you'll be tagging along with us on some track dates next year then and using the car properly (awesome).
There's a few of us going to Donington on the 9th Nov if you fancy stopping in and saying hi.
