Not a problem you just need the right inter-connects. 2 bits of wire in fact.
Lead from the stalk. (depends on what the original stereo was as to which of these you'll need)
Lead from the stereo
But then you'll have your stalks back ?
Found a big bundle of assorted wires last night. with various modules attached to them.
Now, some of those will be stalk/display adapter bits...others will be the old TomTom integration gear I also had in place.
Will have another go at it tonight and see if I can get any part numbers off of it...
dayum.
Yeah, I wasn't sure if Connects do a stalk-and-display number, but if Alpine have put you over to them it's probably your best bet.
THAT SAID!
I may have my old setup knocking about in a cupboard. What is he original head unit, tuner list, update list? If I do still have it, and it's...
2 very separate questions ?
But yeah, the off-the-peg remaps say that the DCi 105 will get another 25 hp on top. I'd imagine it's probably well within limits
There''s not often a lot in it, and sometimes a promo contract can be better. Just did the maths, as below. Handset costs from Carphone Warehouse, SIM is a 12-month minimum tariff. Costs over 24 months
P20 Pro - £800
iPhone 8 - £639
Sim - £20 x 24
iPhone
£1119 (£46/month)
EE contract £58/m...
I had to contact an Alpine stockist and get them to order one when I was looking, but that was a decade ago.
There's at least 2 different ones depnding on what stereo Renault installed in the first place.

Try calling up Connects2...
Of course, the rears aren't under as much stress as the fronts, but did they disintegrate too?
I'm assuming when you say "40 laps" you don't 40 laps in one go ?
draw up a list of all the suggestions you find in this thread. Price them all up.
Take that price, save up the money....
....then sell this Clio and buy something else, a 182 or whatever.
Your car as it sits is worth more than if you get lured into "improving" it.
That said, tyres and...
You can put big money on those noise complaints coming from people who moved into the area long after the place was built.
Besides, the place is surrounded by industrial estates....if memory serves.
Dr. Palmer needs a knighthood for services to UK sport. Each of his places bar Bedford were...
Rockingham was in a shocking state when we went for BTCC last year. It's like they completely forgot to finish the inrastructure around the bowl. The access roads, car parks and such.
The tower is dead, otherwise why isn't it used?
The oval gets about 7 uses a year, maybe?
The roval isn't all...
I was interested in this idea before I strapped a tube into my boot.
THe stock rears are still 13cm jobs, so you'd need to custom some mountings to at least 20cm really. I'd imagine mounting depth wont be too much of a problem as long as you dont pick subs with a massive bucket.
twin 8's in...
Our man Hipwell has a good point.
When I had a 172 I just changed headunit and put a sub in.
The stock units are actually pretty good, so long as you're not trying to force bass through them. That's where your sub comes in, and using the filters on the head-unit to cut low-end to the speakers...
The sub wont be rattling your windows, but it'll certainly fill out the lower end of your chosen tracks.
It wont be much cop if you're big on Trap music, lets put it that way. :)
Wheels are such an individual thing, what I like is probably the last thing to consider, if at all :)
The ClioSport classic go-to wheels are OZ Turinis and F1's.
They'll do the job nicely.
THose Pioneers should be a nice straight swap, althought getting the tweeters out requires either:
1 - get the dash off
2 - be prepared to swear.
I got away with option 2
"Dont want to spend much money"
Don't then. Just leave it as is.
Wait until the zorst you have collapses into dust, then replace it with anything. It wont have any noticeable impact on power if you leave it stock or kick off the entire system and drive around like that. ?
Oh nonono. Not at all.
Sounds like the monitor is probably great.
Just that to drive big resolutions at high frame rates requires big kahuna graphics power. Or to turn down some of the quality presets.
Pretty much.
If it was me, I'd be plumping for faster memory and an NVME M2, but yeah, yours...
Yeah...... you wont be hitting that any time soon with the spec people are saying here.... well, unless the lad is super-mad-keen on his solitaire...or games from a decade ago.
But so long as it pulls 60fps, anything more is just willy-waving regardless. ?
