Bolted the pump up to the module and cleared faults in clip which has removed dash lights. I was under the assumption you didnt need the pump but you do.
Hooked up another sensor that I mocked into a better position, fault went out. Lights still on dash, so hooked up the pressure sensor, went from red to flashing orange that I cleared. Lights still on dash. Can someone tell me that you cant have the abs module only for speedo purposes and the...
Can give this a go but because n/s driveshaft its a bit of a pain, If I have no other choice then so be it.
I have a couple of spare sensors to try out to see if the position of the ring is whats causing the problem.
The connector is getting 12v so wiring is ok. It could be the sensor, I spun the wheel and the meter didnt show any voltage. Im going to check the other side just for reference.
It could be. However the drivers side driveshaft has the same size ring and its not coming up with an error. I havnt had a proper look at the area the sensor is over the ring on that side yet. Ive ordered another multi meter to test the sensor as my chinese one broke.
Only thing I can see is that the sensor has gone into the hub a few degrees offset and the bolt doesnt line up, I remember when I put the sensor in some months ago and trying to twist it to line up but it didnt move, I left it as its not going anywhere.... Could this be the problem? Its a tiny...
No problem. Just to replace the stock lines, I have quick disconnects as well so I could plumb in a cooler down the line without any fuss.
Yes its tight, I removed the subframe to do mine, as Ive had my subframe down before I know the bolts aren't seised and everything comes off quickly.
Did...
This is for the return, I wrapped the line in some fire sleeve as well although Ive forgotten what size I used.

I can tell you that the reservoir suits -8 aeroquip push on hose, dont know about the oem hose. Have you thought about making a full custom line for the return? Pretty simple and not expensive to do.
I want to add that after some thought, my original theory behind the rack failing, the first post of this page, may not have had any effect, Im now pretty sure its the upper bearing in the pinion which is now solved.
Now needs a clean as probably been a year since it was last. Mechanical parts>exterior! I cant bare to spend time cleaning it knowing there has been something else it needed first.
Time for an update. Said machining has been done and the new bearing is in. My suspicions were correct, there is no binding no matter how much you tighten the pre load and the pinion is solid in the housing, before you could move it by hand. No idea why renault would design the racks like they...
Adjustable lower arms to gain track could give you more king pin angle to then be able to run 8+ caster, but then that lessens scrub radius which you might not want to take away too much of.
Taken from Milliken. This sums up how touring car can run that much caster.
"The camber of the wheels when steered is a function of the kingpin angled and the caster angled. With no kingpin angled (and no caster angled) there is no camber change with steer lock. As kingpin is added (but still...
Running 15s and the pms roll centre lower joint will have an effect and lower mechanical trail. Im on 16s without roll centre correction with 4.7 deg caster and the weight of the steering wheel is good, I wouldnt go any lower which is why I wont fit a RCK, instead going a custom route.
You know some of the stuff Ive talked about to you, it all has an effect on what you are experiencing.. The problem is the steering in these cars have more play in them than a jungle gym. So more positive scrub radius which makes the wheels respond to the road more, which is a good thing in a...
Using the shims to adjust the tie rod height. This video gives an idea what it is.

@FPummell Reason I ask about the camber is because you could be getting -10 on one wheel with that caster, see what what you get first, Id say 5-6 is a better place to start.
It will depend on whats been setup on the bump steer adjustment. A bit of toe out is more desirable on dive as you probably wont be able to get zero bump steer.
Im just watching boostedboiz video and the live stream really didnt do the sound justice, I made a joke about needing ear plugs but in person the energy is real lively.
