There is a group buy on a Scorpion 192 (one of the quieter ones apparently) at the moment, £300 delivered to your door.
That's what I would go for if I was after a value stainless system.
Powerflow are custom made and that will depend on the fabricator - some are very good, others are shocking.
Are you sure? Most people come back after 6 months of doing that saying they "fancy a change" or it drones constantly and it does their head in.
Depends how you use the car I suppose but if it's a daily (especially if carrying passengers) I would get a centre silencer.
It will also be better if...
Prospeed in Cardiff is an independent custom exhaust manufacturer. Charlie from there is highly regarded but that's going to be as much as a Yozza I would have thought!
There is currently a group buy needing only 2 more people for a Scorpion RS192 at £300 odd delivered for a cat-back system...
Get one with a centre silencer, that is all.
Stainless steel will resist rust (technically shouldn't rust but the welds can sometimes fail) better than the mild steel OEM one and sound more bassy.
Only if you want to remove the original one (if it is an OEM exhaust) in one piece?
If it is OEM, just cut it to aid removal - it can be sleeved back together (Renault supply the sleeve!).
Well, cosmetically the only obvious issue was the wheels which they could get done trade for £100 all in probably and then a basic service and as said, everyone will say it is "dealer supplied" so the best you can get.
I guess that's always the case and the nature of the industry. How many...
I think the point is that the air con system produces dehumidified air (whether hot or cold) and in winter the dehumidified air (which can be warm) produced by the system keeps the window free of misting.
I run it for a few minutes each time I fill up (every couple of weeks).
That way, I remember to do it regularly as on the whole, I don't really use aircon.
If you have any sensitivity to noise, why go for a decat and/or an exhaust with "a distinctive sound" as one of its main characteristics?
The best exhaust is the standard one. It is a pleasure to have on the car, no noise, no headache, no strange looks, you can use the stereo and have a...
Which part of the rear beam should be used to avoid bending the usual jacking points by the sill? Can it be anywhere along the beam or are there stronger/reinforced areas along the beam? So if changing a driver's side rear tyre can you just place the jack under the beam on the driver's side...
I see the point but as with most fakes, I guess there are two different markets. Those that buy the reps probably cannot or would not buy the genuine ones and those that buy the genuine ones are the customers who insist on/want/need the quality with little overlap.
So perhaps RAYS et al are not...
If you are doing it to improve them because they are marked, then re-do them anthracite. It will improve their appearance and will help if you decide to sell the car.
If you want a colour change and you don't like black, white and want to move from anthracite, that doesn't leave much (silver...
Good man. Black wheels just don't work for me. You lose all the detail of the wheel, they end up looking smaller and the car just looks "pimped".
It's a phase, it'll pass.
If you have a 182 Cup, do them in anthracite and if it is a non-Cup leave them silver and don't kerb them after the respray.
I was thinking this. Who on this earth would look at that and think "I need to contact this guy, I want this car"?
He also mentions unemployment and while I feel for anyone in that position, did his previous role involve writing, typing or talking?!
I think the answers to this thread would be more telling/interesting if the question was "If you had to choose one type of mod, what would it be?"
I am an OEM guy but for me, it is lowering a "tad" (not slammed so it is undriveable).
I can think of no more effective a mod than when you look at a...
Colour is one of the most subjective aspects of a car. With respect, the answers won't help you unless you are asking for what is the most popular colour by votes.
For my input, you should buy a RB one as I think it is the best colour.
