Ha, you can't actually do either of those with a clio. I've just got in the habit of double hitting the headlight flash, and the wipers just flicking it down and up, although I have auto wipers that work properly so rarely have the need.

Not every box you buy is going to be like that though! Agency rebuild cost me £275 last week, gearbox oil and clutch on top of that. If you're keeping the car, rebuild is the only option IMO. Where abouts are you? May be worth paying somebody to do it for you.

I am an auto electrician.. Its going to need a relay at least, and I've not even investigated it yet. Those diagrams aren't much use from those photos, but the Ph1 will have the indicators go via that switch too.

With the oil leaks, what did it have done? Crank seals? TBH I'd get it running and then see if it leaks, otherwise its box off, flywheel off again (which ideally needs new bolts), for nothing possibily. I don't have a high opinion of 519, but I'd like to imagine, Nobody would put the engine...

First thing I'd do is jack it up and try to move the wheel at 3/9 and 6/12 points, checking for any amount of movement. Secondly, I'd check the lower balljoint isnt sloppy as f**k, and is tight in the hub (Hole in the hub can become enlarged), and check the rack is tight to the subframe etc...

My plan for this now is to get there 12ish, then leave about 2ish, to head up to see the EOE lot. Maybe a bit mad.

I have 10mm with 1 degree Neg camber, and I still get rubbing, with 195/45 tyres, assuming its the same height as mine. I had 2degree camber before, had no rubbing. Will have to find some time!
