Trying to Remove rear wiper arm

Ball joint splitter, like the one in the link here http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_173425_langId_-1_categoryId_255216 That's what I've used to remove them.

How accurate is the oil level sensor on the onboard computer?

Mine tells lies lol. Only safe way to check the oil level is via the dipstick.

    Mean looking clios!!

Notice a few pics of the ph-1s in here have the weird fitment issues with the front bumper like I have with mine. The impossible task of trying to get it to line up level and straight. lol

    Mean looking clios!!

The blue one on OZF1s is awesome, definitely has the "Wtf are you looking at" look about it lol

    Mean looking clios!!

Lol ph-1s hardly look aggressive. IMO the most aggressive Clio's I've seen seem to be black ph-2s. Edit: mk1s are the most aggressive looking clios.

how hard is it to do a service on the drive?

Door handle spindle FTW! I've used that method in the past too lol

    Squeaking up front

I had something very similar, turned out to be the engine undertray was mis-fitted and was rubbing against the subframe everytime I rocked the engine and created a squeaking noise. Also got the same noise when negotiating speed bumps etc.

    Oulton Park 9/3/13- Photos/Video/In-Car Video

If it's only a small leak then I wouldn't worry to much about it, hang fire until the belts are due. I had to get mine sorted though cos it was dripping oil on the manifold. lol Yeahh I'll take you out mate, £5 a lap though :P

    Oulton Park 9/3/13- Photos/Video/In-Car Video

Depends, it could be just the breather plate it's leaking from. (I've had that in the past on the cup) Or it could be leaking from the rocker cover bolts. If it is the rocker cover at fault though, then yeah the belts will need to removed to take the rocker cover off.

Great pics as per Niall. The rain will make you appreciate a dry track day even more James, get the 9th April booked ;) and that GTR sounds amazing, surprised that passed the noise regs actually lol

Implications of unplugging the solenoid from what was the carbon canister?

Had the EML light due to removing the carbon canister for a couple of months now and I've had no adverse effects on the running of the car.

    Inner track arm

I got mine from GSF for £11 each, they had 3 options though, two for an SMI rack and 1 for a TRW rack. I picked one of the SMI options and was lucky enough to guess the correct one. Also Cup and Trophy inner tie rods are dealer only IIRC.

    Brake Caliper Seized?

He's got braided brake hoses, so not sure that'd be the best idea lol. It's really easy to change the brake fluid anyways.

    Inner track arm

I used this to do mine. As mentioned, access is the biggest issue but the job isn't complicated at all

Battery off for a week, key fob now doesn't work?

I've had similar issues with mine in the past. One of my keys won't activate the central locking, even if I code it to the car it seems to lose it's memory 5minutes later. As for the alarm, when it starts playing silly buggers, I have to lock/unlock both the driver and passenger door manually...

How should i feel about this

Email him again and show interest in buying it and see how long it takes him to realise who it is?

Time for a new steering rack?

You've got a boot that's slipped off there, unless you've removed it deliberately. Mine makes a squelching noise when you move the rack from lock to lock, pretty sure it's normal though as it's pushing the PAS fluid about

    The Simpson Tapped Out

Anything over 9,999,999 use to cause build menu issues. Don't know if that's been rectified now but it use to struggle and couldn't register 8 figures

Air-con removal, before and after power graphs

Where's the extra power and torque come from then chip? You know a lot more than most on here so I'm interested on what your thoughts are. The only thing that's changed since the 1st RR run is the aircon delete and the removal of the carbon canister. I can't imagine the engine is still...

Air-con removal, before and after power graphs

Yeah I replaced a knackered alternator a few hours before the last run. Uncertain of it's condition during the the 1st run but it was working back then, it was the trackday that I did recently that killed it though

Air-con removal, before and after power graphs

Air-con removal, before and after power graphs

There might be a slight difference but I doubt they'd be much difference tbh. Not sure what you mean by "different filtering" as I'm not that clued up on the workings of RRs. Chris wouldn't have done anything to exaggerate the figures though as there's nothing to gain from for it for him. His...

Air-con removal, before and after power graphs

Me and Rob have spoke about doing one on the 9th April if you fancy that mate? I need to confirm with work that I have that week off though so nothing definite yet. Which PMS kit have you gone for mate? The lightweight pulley or the one that uses standard pulleys?
