My Mum once reversed into my first car and caved the door right in. I wasn't particularly bothered, paid some
pikey garage £20 to push it out and left it at that. Needless to say it was less than rigid but when i sold it the buyer couldn't care less.
Cant be helped.
I agree with the leave it as it is and put it toward a nicer car but at what point does that stop. I had a completely standard 1.2 16V Clio as my first car, never spent a penny modding it.
Since then though I've spent money (not massive amounts mind) modding my subsequent cars and am now in a...
I've got it from very good authoritory that 'big brake kits' are not needed. Bearing in mind the cup racer 1*2's just used standard calipers and disks.
What you want is some updated pads such as DS2500, braided brake lines and some good brake fluid such as a DOT 5.1.
For heavy track use it is...
It wasn't your fault it was stolen Neil, there's no damage and the cars mint. I'd buy it. I'll give you £1000 and my 182, it is stolen recovered remember ;) I jest mate, good luck with the sale.
Hmm. I'm not convinced. This could be the end of the RS Clio being the best hot hatch. 175lbft isn't great from a blown lump. I bet it's because the box will break if it's more meaning that remaps will probably destroy it.
Is it the TCE or the 1.2 16v?
I like it, I don't like the stripes mind :/
Lot of potential there though buddy. The MK3's are nice. A lot more refined than the MK2's. Enjoy it.
I'd go for uprated brakes (disks, pads and braided lines), then some 15" wheels with some decent rubber and maybe some sportline springs.
Then it's good to go for trackdays. That's my plan with mine.
Really like that. Looks like it should be a great all rounder for you.
Lol @ checking up on your other half though. Who needs trust these days when your phone can track their car.
Put the rear lights back to standard, remove the tints and turn the fogs off and that's a nice first car.
Seriously though, don't drive around with your fogs on. Nothing screams chav more.
Enjoy the car matey.
