A lot of you will recognise this car from this thread started by Naith: http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?529935-Blo0dDiamond-The-TeamAriane-Clio-Project-str0ng
So a few weeks ago I got a text off Naith saying 'The Clio might be for sale. You still looking for one?' well I wasn't...

I'll have to be home before dark though because I only have one operable headlight...
I'll even offer a free photoshoot from Niall97 (you all know what he does and how well) to anybody who can tell me how to fix it. I can't say fairer than that.
Afternoon all
One of the headlights on my phase 1 172 isn't working. I have swapped the HID kit over to the other side and it works fine. Main beam and the indicators work but it doesn't send power to the headlight.
I am thinking it may be an earth but I'm not sure where the earth is.
Any...
Bit of a Q-car these. You wouldn't expect it to be as quick as it is based on the looks.
Any reason why you chose it over it's more sporting stablemate, the Focus ST?
Wow, what an intelligent bloke, fair play to him.
lol @ people saying he had financial backing, of course he did. You know when Concorde was built that didn't cost a tenner.
List above is too comprehensive. All I will say is make sure you bring enough beer for the first night because you won't have time to go to the supermarket.
I made that mistake in 2011 and almost had a meltdown. Would rather have forgotten my tent and slept in an MX5 for four nights!
I'm going to go to the next one. I currently drive a diesel Ibiza which is depressing, although I will be getting a Clio track car soon which will be my third 1*2.
I need to start getting involved with the West Midlands lot. I'm friends with a load of the North West boys but I moved to Birmingham last year for work and haven't bothered with CS much.
To be fair I wouldn't be massively worried out mileage. There is nothing that will cost more than around £ 1,000 to fix and that would only be if your engine catastrophically failed.
At legal motorway speeds my ph1 172 would do 44mpg all day long.
I take what you mean though, these Fiesta's are a game changer for the modern small got hatch.
