This is why I’m becoming less of a fan. They swore blind they wouldn’t sell out and do this (that came from one of the owners - he was standing by me when he said it). Money talks.
Gutted I decided to self isolate. Genuinely. Been in a foul mood all bloody day as there’s bugger all wrong with me. Even the Clio looked grumpy when I went to grab something from the garage earlier. App now deleted.
With some help from @Tim we have a suggested route for next Saturday.
7.15 Chieveley services then B4494 to Wantage.
A338 to Wantage then up to the A420 past Williams F1 and joining the A420.
@Tim. Are you OK to take the lead on this bit and I’ll take over once we hit the A34?
A420 to the...
These turned up the other day too. Bug remover is excellent, other 2 are new to me. Sigma is superb, decon shampoo is to perk up the coatings on the dailies.
Another winner from Garage Therapy. This time sigma ceramic spray sealant. Always a bit sceptical of this type of product as the term’s been used and abused to death.
This however is seriously good stuff. Easy to work with (spritz, buff, flip towel and buff again), leaves a really nice gloss...
She honestly doesn’t know mate. She thought it might have been a bird but there’s no ‘residue’ so to speak 🤢 and she does recall that something may have fallen off the vehicle in front. Either way, car can be fixed and she’s OK.
Thanks chap.

2. Turn-in sharper. Drive home was a mix of tight B roads and sweeping A’s and it turns really crisply. Really inspires confidence to push on a bit more than before.
3...
PMS top mounts and strut brace fitted today. No noticeable increase in NVH but turn-in does feel a bit sharper. Had alignment done too which may have helped.
Sadly Mrs Coops’ Clio had a moment today - she hit some debris at around 50mph. She’s OK which is the main thing and luckily only bumper...
The only fallout remover that gets close to BH is Iron-X and you can have it in lemon fragrance too.
I say ‘lemon’ when what I mean is ‘lemon lying on a pile of dog sh*t’
I called Kwik Fit in Bognor (closest to Gary Spooner’s place) and the lad there said all OK to do when I explained what I’m doing. We’ll see what they say when I actually turn up lol.
I’ve never had the alignment done properly and having some bits done next week it’s about time I sorted it.
Spec will be
PMS solid top mounts
Standard shocks
Eibach Sportline springs
Camber bolts
Road use only - no plans for any track stuff.
And any good alignment places in north Hampshire...
