What are peoples usual go to here?
I used some cheap screw extractors(won't be doing that again) which sheered so I could no longer drill our the nipple
Tried welding nuts on with no luck either
I went for a ryobi, loads of random ass tools you can use on the same battery especially for DIY stuff. Usually have a bundle on offer. The air compressor they do is handy for tyres too
I managed to get away with the j&r cv joint/boot but like I said, they supply the wrong clip that fouls. So il order some of these style clips to do the other side
Every time I tried hammering them down they loosened off on me. There's barely anything. Like using those type clamps it was hitting the hub and undoing itself
So usually I use the boot clamps in picture 1, but I have absolutely no clearance on my Megane 225 cv joints so need the most slimline clamps I can get. I had to use a metal cable tie type like pic 2 as its all I had to hand.
So what clamps do you lot use and what would you recommend out of these
I'd have a go with a new o ring and just cable tie it down. Mines been cable tied for years. You could get the section w/connector but not sure it's still available. Think most people use the ktec connectors with rubber line down to where it connects under the car
Any recommendations. Not sure weather to go with a worktop press or a full height one. What's everyone using?
Need it to replace a swivel hub on my meg but would like to be able to do wheel bearings in future
Love a few pics of setups if possible
Thanks!
I think from what has happened when I have tried turning lights off for people in the past, if somethings plugged in but been switched off with clip it will throw up a fault. Iv used an RS Tuner and you can switch off each individual sensor so maybe worth having them all switched back on and see...
What standard mechs have people used? Don't want one that's gonna fail on a trackday and there's loads listed on ebay if anyones used one with no problems

Cant remember what it looks like. There's a few of these sites doing repro stuff. Non in UK tho
I think the brown ones might be r19? I just had a look at my spare ones. One was green and one was brown but with slightly different ir cover to the clio one
