Got a slight problem with mobile broadband on my netbook, it wont connect to the network. It comes up with a message saying that my SIM needs to be activated and I need to contact customer services to do it.
So I ring the number and I get the old "this number has not been recognised please...
Very true, but as they say.........onwards & upwards
Probably be a good idea to make an appointment at the quacks if you've not been checked over already, Paramedics will tell you to do that anyway
EDIT: 3 hours in a neck brace isn't fun especially if you need a piss
Braking round corners and lifting off the throttle while cornering was your mistake there mate. Something one should always bear in mind especially at this time of year with shitty weather & road surfaces ;)
Glad to hear everyone was able to walk away & not seriously hurt but I can't see how you'd get banned unless you're not telling us the full story :nono: as it sounds like an accident caused by inexperience :S
Sorry to tell you this mate but it's gone to the scrapyard in the sky :( it was bendee's car & it was stunning, unfortunately it t-boned a van @ 50 odd mph and came off a lot worse than the van
Can probably find the owner of the willy on williamsclio ;)
Loving this project :approve:
Wish I had somewhere like that to play with cars :( I'd be doing the same as you . Have you had a look on www.williamsclio.co.uk? Plenty of williams related education on there and spares ;)
Oh and you can never overdo pics, keep up the good work
would you also be the guy who spanked my m8 with the silver vee at pod around feb march time?
He spent all day slagging off valvers, then got his arse handed to him by a "fcukin shed", was a miserable cnut all day after that  but really made mine so much more fun:D
I fookin love my parads :D awesome dry grip, I also reckon they're great in the wet but can only really compare them to the budget tyres I had on before & not any others but good nonetheless
Try ebay if you want yoko's ;) I got my most recent pair (195/50/15) for £56 delivered and the pair...
There's a guy on clio16valver that's done these
before
after
another guy on there has polished the whole of the wheel, will try & find pics for you, the centre caps are metal, it's the centre caps on ph2 valver wheels that are either plastic or metal
Been for sale for fookin ages that has  I couldn't shift mine for £2.2k and it's better than that one, I'll feel sorry for anyone that pays over £1500 for that car :dapprove:
Not worth it unless you're going to drop a better engine in there imo, but probably cheaper to buy a 1.8 16v & get that done up for track work
you need to decide if you're willing to spend the time, money & effort required to make your 1.2 into a viable track toy or to go & get a better Mk1...
That's a bit different, he's referring to the lack of a pulley being driven by the belt off the crank hence less drag on the engine. Basically it's the electrics and the power steering being driven by 1 pulley instead of 2 (with an electric PAS pump)
Been there, done that & since parking is such a tiny part of driving I can live with the extra difficulty since the all round drive is so much better without the PAS
Done it at the same time as I was swapping the engine so not very long in the grand scheme of things
I was very surprised at how much stuff I removed from the engine for it to work, brackets, pump, pipework & the manual rack must weigh about half what the PAS rack weighed
