I paid a little less as it wasn't me who won the auction but that person contacted him and pulled out of the deal, so we negotiated the price and the deal was done.
I've just re-newed my membership, do you know how long it took to receive from when you renewed?
Think I'll order a knee pad too for detailing sessions - will save my back a bit! ;)
As mentioned above, one option is to drill a small hole and pull the dent out.
Alternatively you can glue the metalwork and try to pull it out that way (if your dent guy is decent, he'll know what that means).
Well I've returned to Clio ownership with a lovely Liquid yellow 182, owned by a fellow club member (Will).
I've been looking for a LY 182 for a while, and this one came available almost as soon as my old car was sold with pretty much all my requirements, such as the Liquid yellow paint and the...
I would re-fit the standard leads and see if the problem is there or not.
If it is, then double check you've not knocked any sensors or wiring when removing the inlet manifold to fit the new leads etc.
It ended on eBay at £5k but the buyer pulled out so after viewing the car, the history and driving it I agreed a price a bit less and bought it. Yes it's very strong money but it's exactly what I wanted, with the right spec, right mods etc. I've had a few Clios over the years, a ph1 172, ph2 172...
I'll be doing a project thread soon, it's had loads done, to much to list really and has been really well looked after. Won the show and shine award (I think that's right) at last year's Cliosport Festival (maybe wrong show lol), has Milltek, recaros, cooksport suspension, poly bushed all round...
I loved my R53 Cooper S a few years ago, great fun and great on track too.
Now got a R56 JCW, and the death rattle isn't too much of an issue you just need to use the correct oil, get the tensioner replaced for the updated part number and have a de-coke done every few years or so (depending on...
Still need a few bits, fitted some bigger drilled/grooved discs and track spec pads this weekend (not pictured) and have a few other track related bits on order, but so far so good...
If you have photoshop, I would personally ALWAYS shoot in RAW format. Gives you so much more control of the photo when editing etc. If you've not got it, you can pay monthly £8 I think and it's really worthwhile having, transforms so many pictures and saves ones that otherwise would be junk.
If they've been sent out already then I can post it to you bud, sorry didn't realise they'd been sent out already. Send me another PM and I'll sort it :)
If you head over to the Rensport facebook page - there are monthly meets with a great bunch of boys and girls from across the South West. Will be organising future drives, breakfast meets etc.
Where in the South West are you? Can recommend a bodyshop, for a bonnet just buy one second hand off eBay is your best bet really as decent new ones won't be cheap
Exeter Services gives you 3 hours parking I think it is, which is more than enough time to chat, look around the cars and obtain a krispy kreme donut from the shelves right next to the toilets 🙈:mask:
I've spoken to the guys and girls in my local facebook group (Rensport) and we can get...
Do you have breakdown cover with AA, RAC etc? They'll be able to come out and diagnose it I expect. Did you leave anything on whilst doing the breaks? Radio? Open door?
Could be the battery or it could be a loose earth, check the main earth strap on the gearbox (passenger front arch). I'd also...
From experience the standard ones are made from cheese... Bin it or get it retrimmed/ replace it with a nice aftermarket one that isn't the size of a bus wheel.
Spraying oil?! It shouldn't have that much oil going through it - otherwise it would point towards failed turbo seals. Have a look at your air box/filter and see if that's coated in oil or not.
