no, it wont its through the laquer and through the paint. how can you polish up whats not there? polish it up if it makes you feel better, but you'll certainly see all those scratches still

if you fit it properly the door wont look like its been changed, although even if its the same colour code, the colour may still be slightly off, so many things can change that. might look alright with a good polish. but those window seals are a nightmare
