If your oil has fuel in it, that's not ideal - quick way to a scrap engine. Does your car burn any oil, any blue smoke? Could be excess fuel getting through the piston rings if they're worn, oil would come the other way, so you'd soon be able to tell.

I did this with about 40psi of compressed air in the garage and it fired the piston across the garage.

Check the connectors in the rear light clusters and associated earths. This used to happen intermittently on my 1.2. Never got to the bottom of it.
