Anyone that runs a manual bias valve, how do you have yours set? I find that all the way to the front is the best stopping power, but the fronts lock up much quicker and even just a bit to the rears really takes away all the power. Running brembos up front so there is a big difference but surely...
Im looking at a quick rack but after hearing a lot of the 'feedback' from the epas I want to stick with the hpas. I know pure do one but also Brt which qualife sell from their site which is 1/3 of the cost though It seems its difficult to keep hpas. Couldnt you just build the rack how you would...
Thanks mate, I dont like the idea of 2x wash ?Not a lazy thing but a fucked up knee thing, been waiting for months for the nhs to pull their finger out to have a consultation of another possible injection, had the first last year and didnt do anything, its a joke, how long does it take for them...
Yeah just a basic wash with a hand mitt, wasnt expecting loads but dont know the proper process to getting a good clean! I have autoglym magma so like a iron x stuff that can be used on bodywork, so I would use that after wetting the car, then wash off then wash with shampoo with mitt, dry, then...
I waxed this panel, suns on it
This is just washed with dodo sour power
Camera can change things though..
It was a bit marked when I got it, some bumper rashes and small marks, not too bad. A bit after owning it it was key scratched in a lot of places, they are real small like it was...
@Chapppers11
Not sure what qd is mate, am new to all this :) The wax does apply, Im just not sure if enough goes on the car, should it be coated on thick or just a thin layer, do you rub it in so the surface is just coated and leave it till it dries, or give it more of a working in?
Just got some but its quite hard and hardly any wax gets picked up by the foam pad or your fingers, read a review that said something like that might of happened. What should it be like?
@william...
It was a big improvement, it hardly changes direction when hitting bumps or potholes, if the road is cambered combined with the negative camber setup it will turn, not a lot though... Unfortunately the stock dampers have too much droop so the rose joint was fouling, the spacers...
I already had loads of fittings so just got what I needed to route underneath
Cover off while sorting out the valve
Probably been used once in their life
Very rough idea
Randomly searched for sabelt seats on ebay the other day and found this for a bargain, really good condition and feels perfect, a lot more comfy than I thought and back is nice and upright. Will be getting the Jon Foz mounts soon for this!
New brake routing, had it routed in the car through...
They came yesterday which was nice but its exactly the same fitting lol, but yeah there wasnt any air coming out anyway I use that gunson one which isnt bad, also did it the 1 man method as well as the mc needed bleeding. Dont really know what to think though, I absolutely hate the dead zone...
Have had a look on ebay for the sheets of it but dont seem to be any of the dark grey that are on the doors, seem to be a few sellers with the same batch of different colours but all out of stock on grey! Anyone know of any sites to get the stuff? Ideally dont want to spend a fortune and dont...
@bloke Wheres the power in the rev range on the 1*2 lumps? Like the idea of the 225 conversion but it sounds a bit naff really? might sound silly but im all for high revving. The honda motors though seem to rev high when turbo'd
Nice one guys, just about to do it. Will pump the pedal as well that sounds like a good trick. Ever since fitting the brembos ive had inconsistent pedal feel, that was with abs then I got rid of it and was still the same. Think the rear calipers could do with a refurb tbf but want to upgrade to...
I have just ordered some high quality ones but will have to plumb my car tomorrow so cant wait for them. I have the brembos and i think air seeps in through the threads of the screws, I remember vaguely reading about coating some grease around the visible thread I wasnt sure, is that alright to do?
To give you an idea my car has full coilover on the rear, eibachs on the front, bump steer correction and has had steering rack bushes refreshed, running -1.6 neg up front and just original toe settings, think its 0.07 out, and is quite planted and direct, its not exactly stable at higher speeds...
Think its just the characteristics unfortunately. Old shocks could make it worse, steering rack bushes as well. Doenst mean to say you can tone it right down im sure someone could chip in
I have a clip but im a bit far, my cars not mot'd and in a bits as well! Dont suppose you could tell me where the brake rez cap sensor goes to in the loom? As I know its bundled with the abs loom
