I got through what will probably be the hardest days to get pics successfully (had an Op on Wednesday), so it's looking good for the rest of the year :)
Nothing too exciting, need a plan of attack for next month to mix things up a little...
026:
Had to blag 027 a little, so just...
£200? Do it, you won't regret it.
Realistically, a DSLR will be a whole lot more expensive. If you want roughly the same range with autofocus, you are easily saying hello to double that £200 and long term it will cost a whole lot more.
As a learning tool that Panasonic is unbeatable imo, my...
I may be wrong, but I can't remember seeing it looking that fussy anywhere else and it certainly doesn't look like a standard car from a major manufacturer in those pics, especially the skirt crease and messy front and rear, which screams 'modification' to me, even if it is a Renault-fit item...
Found this today, interesting if very unscientific visualisation of how much all these changes are actually making...

Day 24...
The 20mm 1.8 has made my 50mm 1.8 redundant, wrapped the D90 and 20mm in a bag for this one...
Thank god for the weekend, struggling with indoor/night shots. Thankfully it should be light enough to shoot after work in a month or so.
Isn't the R26R firmly in that territory anyhow? Not really heard a bad word about it, the RS is going to have its work cut out to be better than the Megane imo.
I don't get home till 9pm, nightmare! 3hrs to find and shoot something, done way too much in home lately, need to get out.
Next week should be fun, got an operation on Wednesday...sneak the DSLR into the hospital and get some shots of my internals?!
This is probably the most common 'complaint' in photography, almost everyone thinks they live in a boring area, simply because you are so familiar with everything around you. I'm sure if you went to the most boring town in America or Australia, you could find 100 things to take photos of...and...
Day 20...
Harder than it looks, especially in a tight enclosed space where any amount of ambient light makes it very difficult to keep yourself out of the picture.
Yup, think it was Revels who pointed these LED lights out on Ebay, about 30 minutes later I had me a set for 99p! They arrived today...
Nikon D90 & 50mm 1.8, Aperture Priority f2.8, ISO800 and the on-camera flash. Didn't really play around apart from this shot as I didn't want it to go cold!
I did it anyway :)
'Shatford', 'Nine Elms' and 'Flying Squad' brings up loads of news reports on the Millennium Dome Diamond Heist. I've no idea what the book is though!
Always interested in the nice food shots they have in restuarant menus, thought 'how hard can it be', pretty hard, as it turns out, not entirely happy with this but was worth a go (tasted rather nice too)
Day 18...
Went for something a bit topical yesterday, thought it would be nice to try and document the year in general as well as my own personal experiences...
Very blue screen, couldn't balance that with the overall White Balance.
Ooooops, completely forgot...but yep have been short of time (NWS is stopping me sort it out at work!), should be able to do it tomorrow at some point.
It's tiny, especially considering it's packing 100mm of constant f2.8. Not much bigger than a normal 70-300 f4-5.6 zoom lens.
Stunning quality, probably one of the first lens to really take advantage of digital, in so much as it's built completely from the ground up for crop sensors and is...
