197 too, I hate that bit though, it actually makes it harder to use the hook
Always used it on mk2s, had a couple of other cars with similar things and I like it.
Change the flywheel. Omex struggles with the cup racer trigger. You would need to edit the trigger tooth table to even stand half a chance. Omex have never got it working

I think we did 36 in November. Always fun to have a good turnout :)
Jon, Cool :)
nope. 172 cup is the only model that DOES have a compensator. It's just fixed in one position rather than with a lever rod on it
All models with ABS use the ABS unit to control brake balance.
I'd check your calipers are working properly, I saw 3 in one day this week with sticky rears because...

Crikey, that's a busy one!

hai ;)
You're right, the ph1 did see some benefits, there was a fair gain in the mid range mostly (it took a big chunk of extra fuel there too so very obviously there were gains), and it drove nicely. Overall it wasn't good enough an improvement for me to be happy to keep selling those cams...
I think this is actually a little out of character for Pete. He's a nice guy, but clearly been wound up by a few people and probably at the point of being over sensitive
edit...too slow
bit of a con really, they bumped the price by £25 when they did this, but it's cheaper for them to produce one kit. over £150!!!
I use Contitech kits for ph1's now, much better value
They breed them on the farm. Hundreds of the things get released in late summer. They're in season at the moment so they're mostly hiding. As soon as they're less likely to be shot, they sit right in the road. Idiot creatures.
