As most have said, correct fitting is important. You just have to make sure they're not under tension

Re: dmallett's 421'd monaco lol! Try unplugging the sensor for the auto lights/wipers. It's at the top of the screen. Plug is under the headlining though so you'll have to be very careful

I have a really bad left knee. Hasn't cause me any problems since not owning a mk2 (and mine had a brand new clutch). The 172/182 is pretty heavy, It's because it's a cable setup, the 197 is easy with hydraulics doing the hard work, although it does have a lot less feedback/feel to it

all 172/182 shocks are £59.40 each, same price front and rear and for all variants
