Re: dmallett's 421'd monaco
£108 for the Mintex. Fitted some for Russ (Sprintcup) a while back and he let Colin (Shiftspark) have a go (who has ds2500s) at one of their competition events. I sent some Mintex back with Russ for Colin when he was down the other week ;)
I know what you mean...
yeah 2 pumps. You'll probably need to remove it at least partially to see which you have as there's 2 fitments for the front one (pushes down, or pushes in from the side)
pumps are about a tenner. Just remember to remove the rubber and fit it to the pump, rather than leave it on the bottle and push the pump in. You'll be buying a new seal as it will fall straight in
Re: dmallett's 421'd monaco
LOL, nope, got you a new set though. Come and get them and do a power run.
Not done a lot to the car itself other than a thorough service and decent brakes, but I've started Fabricating a couple of bits off the car
Saw you're ruining the monaco with Ds2500s :(...
I just keep proper CV clips in stock, and fit them with the proper pinch and crush tool (about £40 i think it was) The clips themself are very cheap, cheaper than jubilees to be honest. and once fitted right they work perfectly.
I've just had a look at the renault parts site. They've gone up quite dramatically to £67.81 for 182 cup packed front shocks!!!! Small rise to £59.93 for everything else
LOL, people were hugging the wall at FCS a couple of years ago when we were running a load of cars all day. Usually passing about 10 at a time by going low into turn 1.
39 is pretty decent for a 1.2 16v. Have you noticed getting less miles from a tank, or just going by the dash? if you're genuinely getting less, then have the brakes looked at. If they're dragging it will hurt your economy
You're basing that on chadil parts which are at best passable. I've put an f4r manifold against an f7r Meg head and its very close apart from bolt holes. I think your chadil miss match was offset to one side. Centralised it would be far less dramatic a difference
you have 2.7 litres and 2 turbos. I could live with that, but i have an N/A 2 litre doing the same mpg as yours. The cost isn't the problem, it's the VFM
