We could only ever get games from Toys R Us in Southampton for my 7800, so I would get maybe 3 or 4 games per year and play them solidly for months on end (and a new game didn't mean the old one would be put aside either), these days an average game life for many people is what, 30-40 hours? My...
The DSC thing doesn't really mean anything, as soon as it gets to DSC_9999 it starts again. Assuming it's a Nikon you need to look at the EXIF data of your last photo (use the link in my last post) to see the actual count.
As for the reset thing, I thought the shutter count was hard coded...
2600, 5200, but I had a...
I say had, but it's about 2ft behind me as I still have it to this day, fully boxed with all my original games, instructions etc and working as well as it ever did (including the light gun which you need to compensate 2in to the right for!). Backwards compatible...
I know exactly what you are saying, however I do think #1 has been brilliantly captured, colours are awesome, a great vibrant bit of the full artwork has been chosen, and it's been well framed with the leaves on the right.
That's why I chose it, although I love #3 and #4 as well.
7000 since April 1st on the new D50, 33,000 on the old D50 between Janaury 2007 and March 2008.
Use this for Nikons, really accurate and full of info...

Great stuff, looking forward to the day I upgrade to a D80 (or D200 if I'm lucky)
I would actually be tempted to trade the two lenses in for a Nikon 18-200, then you have the same length covered but with the addition of VR (Vibration Reduction) and no need to ever change lenses, which you...
kneebs is spot on.
The D50 is from before Nikon took the motor out of new entry level cameras, so it doesn't matter if you get an AF lens, it will work fine on a D50. Only AF-S lenses will auto-focus on a D40/60, but AF and AF-S will auto-focus on a D50/80.
To clarify:
D50/80: AF = Autofocus...
From a distance I thought it was a Vee (which is why I detoured to walk past it), up close it was poor, and what's with those light surrounds?
Also don't get why you would paint drums, surely you would want to hide them?
It looked awful in the metal, wheels were about 4ft in the arches, the red drums were horrid...the list goes on.
And a V6 badge? That would be fun when doing a 10 second sprint to 60mph.
Spotted one with a baby seat, not sure if that's you...?
I only live in Hilperton but took 25 years to go to Longleat! Did the whole Passport thing last year (including the monkey enclosure), still got the bite marks on my washer jets to prove it! This year we just had a wander around the...
The thread is up now, you just need to wait for a mod to add a poll.
Apologies for the delay, I'm off work for a couple of weeks so haven't had my normal routine to fit this into.
"Graffiti"
Here goes again. Vote will be open until Sunday night. Think it's important to stress this time around, you are voting for the best photograph...not the best graffiti!
Please choose the number of the photograph you think is best and select it in the poll when it magically...
That Gorilla shot is absolutely stunning, nice work :)
I was there yesterday as well, 40 minutes to find the tower in the maze, then me and the other half split up and had a race to find the exit, I took 15 minutes, she took 20.
I thought it was specifically not panning, with panning you will be stationary whilst the object (car) is moving, the photos above are tracking shots from a vehicle travelling at the same speed.
It's fairly straightforward anyhow, when you're a passenger take a photo on your phone of a car...
Cracking vid, is that an SR3 or SR8?
The Radicals are pretty much as fast as it gets at Combe now, some pushing 108mph average laps, Quarry seems to be the only corner where they actually slow down a significant amount.
Bit of a shunt off the start line apparently, they only completed 5 laps in total due to incidents (one of the cars put down masses of oil which would have taken far too long to clear). Quite unusual really, apart from those high-profile Mr Norris crashes you don't get too many major shunts in...
Classic Carnival this weekend at Castle Combe, missed Saturday (and the Saloon carnage) due to a wedding but went along today, still absolutely love the Lotus Cortinas, look so much fun to drive (go sideways more than forward)...
amd the Historic Saloon Race had driver changes...
