There is a stunning pic of this car in this months Evo of it driving away on a high-speed run, love it. I agree though, awesome achievement but doesn't really even put a dent in the Veyron, that does all that and more whilst still being luxurious and -apparently- incredibly easy to drive.

I'm sure there is a setting, on my D50 it goes up to DSC_9999 before resetting. In the Set-Up (Spanner) area of the Menus I have a 'File No Seq' setting, I'm 99% sure this is in the D40 menus.

Spring traditionally meant some nice sunny days, a fair bit of rain and some nice flowers. These days it seems to be sleet, snow, hail and high winds! So although I'm going out to get some pics on Monday, they may not be what we would traditionally know as 'Spring'!

Can't see any difference, to be honest. Auto-focus is still instant as well. I imagine the 2.0x may degrade quality a bit more, but the 1.4 is a tiny piece of glass that doesn't seem to have any noticeable effect. Works brilliantly on my 300mm f4 as well.

hehe, 80-200 AF-S + 1.4 TC = 1.75kg D50 = 600g

10-20 looks quite beefy on my D50 as well, but this really takes the piss... Nikon D50 + Nikon 1.4x TC + Nikon 80-200 2.8 AF-S and in wet-weather mode... I need a battery grip badly, the balance is horrific!

Think this was discussed when they first came out. Car was sold at a loss pretty much due to the suspension set-up.

Would never turn down a local-ish car shoot, always on the lookout for them...however, you are quite far away!
