I think I've seen you about (passing our house near Hilperton/Paxcroft Mead), looooove the colour!
Do you work at Platinum? Seen one parked there as well, assumed it was the same one.
If you ever want some (free) pics of it give me a shout, I would be jumping all over the chance to get...
It's been around for ages, it was only ever intended as a competitive car, and that's exactly what it's being used for. Plenty of vids and pics of it on rally stages on the net.

No Esses or Bobbies back then either, so they would have been absolutely flying into Tower and Camp, and apparently Old Paddock (barely noticeable as a bend now) was a challenge and a half as well.
Awesome video...

Loving the Health & Safety back then, a slightly raised grass verge to put the spectators on is about as technical as it gets!
Cups seem to creep into higher insurance groups than standard 172s despite its official group, and to be fair to the insurers I'm sure they have plenty of data to back their concerns up!
Tried Elephant? I never had any issues with them, at 24 (6yrs NCB) I think it cost me around £500.
Key things are the number of shutter actuations, the quality of the sensor and how well the shutter release still works.
Shutter actuations is an easy one, free software online works it from your last photo very easily and you should request this info from any seller. Nikons generally have a...
There is a stunning pic of this car in this months Evo of it driving away on a high-speed run, love it.
I agree though, awesome achievement but doesn't really even put a dent in the Veyron, that does all that and more whilst still being luxurious and -apparently- incredibly easy to drive.
I'm sure there is a setting, on my D50 it goes up to DSC_9999 before resetting.
In the Set-Up (Spanner) area of the Menus I have a 'File No Seq' setting, I'm 99% sure this is in the D40 menus.
I could be about to ruin this thread with some horribly innappropriate cars as I don't my JDM from my UPS, REM or USB, but...
and this beast I photographed at FOS has turned up on loads of Japanese forums and sites, not quite domestic, but I guess they like it...
Spring traditionally meant some nice sunny days, a fair bit of rain and some nice flowers.
These days it seems to be sleet, snow, hail and high winds! So although I'm going out to get some pics on Monday, they may not be what we would traditionally know as 'Spring'!
Looks like a good morning, used to do crazy things like that when I had my Cup. Fair play to CC for letting you get some pics as well, most circuits wouldn't be that accomodating.
Oh, and out of Bristol ffs?! You drove to the next county and didn't even leave it ;)
Can't see any difference, to be honest. Auto-focus is still instant as well. I imagine the 2.0x may degrade quality a bit more, but the 1.4 is a tiny piece of glass that doesn't seem to have any noticeable effect. Works brilliantly on my 300mm f4 as well.
10-20 looks quite beefy on my D50 as well, but this really takes the piss...

I need a battery grip badly, the balance is horrific!
Congrats to Planetx for a runaway victory in the last round, the new subject is:

Should be more accessible for everyone this time, no shortage of Daffodils around for a start!
Comp runs from now until midnight Sunday March 30th.
