Haha. Im sure Joe's on PH so he'll be aware of all that!! Was sold by Northway Porsche in Reading last, & theyre very well respected so im sure itll be fine. He'll only keep it 5 minutes anyway ;)
Yah, they are dirt cheap as the engines on the 3.4s are made of cheese!!!
Did you check the bores before buying it?
Looks lovely, far braver than me lol.
Nice car, but it gave the 1st owner no end of trouble!!
Definitely a "Friday afternoon after they'd been down the pub" type of car lol.
Number plate is awesome.
Ooft. Sod that. We're leaving Cobham services then. Although you are a bit closer to Dover i suppose
Me, Ollie, Ross (Ollie's brother), Dom the massive c*nt, Tom, Tom (Dom the massive c*nt's friend), Saner & Ben.
Nick has a gf/discovered s3x so is staying at home, Vish is too scared of getting...
More space for the family in the FRS as well  oh and its safer for the wife to drive as it has 4WD ...
Ha ha, its all good, got AA Euro cover for £12 from Leaseplan 😂
Its fine tbh, think loads of people have had the same issues on Babybmw, just arent mechanically aware enough...
Already have a go-kart though lol!! Don't want to render than useless.
Need the space as well really, Sarah is unaware of how to "pack light" when we go away ...
Quite possibly. Would be my first choice is i got another hatchback i think. Such a good all round car!
And depreciation would be...
So, as i cleaned the M135i yesterday, i thought i had better give the mini some love.
After all, ive owned it since last August, done two trackdays and a few thousand miles without it seeing a sponge:
So i went to see these chaps:
And they made it look like this:
Cosmetically, bar...
Off to Le Mans on Thursday, so thought id best give it a clean. Only the second time in 15 months that my wash mitt has touched it, so had forgotten what a lovely colour it was!! Such a good all round car, whilst it has its occasional hiccups, finding a replacement that is as...
It can, but it is VERY reliant on who builds it. Which is why i tend to not bother, the mini is ok, but that was built by Sarah's brother & his dad, so done with a hell of alot of care.
The Megane, as with the Trophy of doom (sharkys), i think id simply stick a standard engine in & enjoy it...
That car was peanuts, excellent buy. Was sorely tempted myself when i saw the ad, but by the time id scrolled to the bottom of the thread it was sold lol
Of course, most race teams are lol. The quickest way to become a rich man is to start as a very rich man and go racing ...
But JMS wasnt one of those. And i would bet that none of the "specialists" on CS that have come & gone were either.
Ironically, the one that charges the most, & is by far...
They are yes, i work in finance. I do it to make money.
Charity wise, i donate to Cancer Research, although i did once donate to JMS. The money they made would suggest they also did it for "passion" and "enjoyment", although as you've probably noticed from the number of "Renault Specialists"...
Last time i checked, the aim of a business was to make profit.
If JMS did that from selling "overpriced" RS2's, i'm sure they'd still be going
With that in mind, i'm sure they were the correct price at the time, considering the cost to develop etc.
More than you had before.
Plenty of graphs on here from when they were available before though tbh.
The search button is your friend on this occasion i feel.
Aaaaaaand its broken again - no throttle response below 2.5k rpm. Gonna book it into BMW (for in 4 weeks time now doubt :weary:) and start looking for another car properly now. Fed up with the thing.
Last Trophy i bought was £2.5k for a Cat C that needed no work.
For one that had been paint strippered, i wouldnt pay more than £2k tbh, & thats only if the dampers were refurbed.
