Ha ha, the TT is a golf in a frock, its lacking a certain level of excitement, but is perfect for Sarah to pootle to school in!
Ive pondered a variety of things, Z4M, e92 M3, Elise, Exige, 996 C4S, etc but the 987 Boxster S seems to be the one that im leaning towards ...
Ha ha, got to love the internet!! Similar thing worked on the e46 M3, so made sense i guess.
Surprised the dealer tech last time it was in by showing him the "secret menu" - he was totally unaware it existed 😂
But yes, i want to give it back & get a "sports car", but Sarah has stated...
Car went back to being flat as a fart under 2.5k rpm last week, so naturally i wanted to get it back into BMW for them to see if there were any faults - unfortunately, they couldn't fit me in until 28th May lol. As such, i got on the internet & fixed it myself after a bit of US forum research...
Just do it yourself tbh, unless of course you want to keep up the BMW warranty etc:

Working on BMW's is a pleasure compared to the clio btw, removing the oil filter, without...
Same. Which is why i keep looking at 330i's.
Think i might miss the power though, so temptation makes me look at 335i's, then i remind myself that they break all the time lol.
Oh, you mean like Recaro, with their faulty Pole Positions lol:

Cheers for the nice feedback, it really is a good little car!
If you want one, you're more than welcome to have a play in mine at a trackday etc (maybe not on track, but you know what i mean lol).
Ha ha thanks, beats the useful "old Harry Potter" i guess 😂
You were hooning about in...
Bought on 170k/5 years old, sold on 187k 2 years later. Sold a 50k mile £7k Trophy to buy it, drove exactly the same.
Was bought solely as a second/track car, so took ALOT of abuse. However, it was maintained impeccably and its only break down was linked to a fault with a new part, not the car...
Just for some comparisons, hardly scientific as the corners were all different, but roll wise:
MCS on Meister R/conti tyres:
Totally standard Trophy on PE2's:
Totally standard Trophy on R888's:
Trophy with Sportlines, Whiteline Rarb, camber bolts & T1R tyres:
Trophy with Sportlines...
Professional photos are in.
Didnt realise how flat it corners compared to the old Trophy!!
And my new desktop, finally replacing the Trophy 😌
Donington now booked for Sat 18th July :grinning:
