I didnt get on with it well.........but then again its not the type of car you really paste the nuts off.
the thing went forward.........and even when you swapped pedals it carried on wanting to go forward........was not impressed with the coupe in anything bar a straight line. Sounded good though.
If your serious on racing and being at the front end, then it'll really depend on a few things. Firstly the class your running, if its mixed and what sort of setups the top 5 are running......no point spending 5k if they are spending 1.5k. The tyres being used, how rigid your going to make the...
your going to have to grind back to where the crack propagates from aswell.........its not going to be a cheap or quick repair if you have to repair the rim.
My friend at ohlins said he would help me out, but a 3 way set would cost about £1500 a corner and I'd be supplying custom shortened ally cases.
They are the best, but when your asking for near btcc technology, your going to end up paying.
I think he's trying to hammer home a point.
But I'd still like to remind him that tooling is interchangable, you can resharpen them, replaceable and unlike a puppy at x-mas......not for life. So the point is a moot one.
