Its normally just the arches & underneath on e36's that are that colour tbh ...
Car looks great though Nick, did it get to Mike's under its own steam this time?
;)
Honeyz dont dig living at home with your mum either though (which i assume he does if he's buying a C63 at 23 :p)
So he might need the estate to get some s3xy time in ...
A valid point.
The cynic is me thinks that Audi will let Porsche win if they do ... think they've had enough marketing out of it for the past 10 years, someone else in VAG's turn now.
Any chance of McLaren coming back at all?
I'll be surprised if they do tbh, very rare that a manufacturer comes in & wins on their 1st attempt (baring McLaren and the Bentley was an Audi). Toyota will be in there 3rd year as well, which will no doubt be their strongest so far. So we might have to go in 2015 & 2016 as well to see Porsche...
Its actually the Municipal campsite in Macon, but we were going to stay in the one Chalons-Sur-Marne due to its proximity to Reims! Have you stayed there before then? Always useful to have a good list of campsites in France - if you're ever in the Dordogne, search out the 'Chateau du Gibanel'...
Well there's a blast from the past!! Good to see you back ...
You are correct though, the GP's may cost more, but my goodness they hold their value!! £22k in 2006, & i paid £10.5k with 46k on it (48% of its initial value, now minimal from now on, perhaps it will even appreciate as they're...
EFA ;)
Mine looked alot better imho:
Miss it actually, its still for sale by the dealer i sold it to, 3 months ago lol.
Will happily have another when kiddies come along, manual only though.
V6 owners (except Fred/Ali) dont track their cars, they just polish them & read stories about oversteer and a lack of lock.
I'd imagine they'd be quite good fun, but it would get boring watching all the £500 1*2's overtaking you, on the outside of bends.
Cheers Gally :o
I do agree though, OEM+ is the way. Non-RF's (probably Hankook V12's) are close to being ordered already, whilst the ride was ok on the roads in France, it is quite frankly horrific around here lol. Only thing im not sure on is the move from 205/40/18 to 215/35/18 as i prefer to...
C4 or DLUX it is then lol. When you say prep, what else will i need, assume its to do with cleaning the surfacing before applying?
Links to product/guides would be much appreciated x
Yup, is because there's no 'black plastic trim' on the GP's front bumper.
Essentially im looking for something that will keep the black bits black - currently use Turtle Wax tyre gel, which does work, but not for very long lol. Im not a detailer (by any stretch of the imagination), but i will be cleaning the GP every couple of weeks & doing the black bits adds a good...
It weighs less than a 182 ... but with 40bhp more lol.
Wheels are incredibly easy to clean, & look totally different in the flesh, naturally the camera pics up the polished bit.
Agreed. There is a certain level of awesome that comes from owning a special car imho
1st part of the...
Not at all, i tend to agree in the photos lol. But in real life, it looks epic!!
Old one looks a bit 'ordinary' now imho, although far classier/less in your face lol.
Funny you should say that, but i do plan on keeping this pretty clean - the colour looks soo much better when not dirty...
Just the GP2 has the 6 pots, R56 Works has 4 pot Brembos, GP1 has the same discs/calipers as the normal R56 MCS. Still 294mm and more than capable of stopping it rather quickly with an uprated pad compound. Ive got some Mintex 1144's that ill be swopping off my other Mini over the weekend. 4/6...
lol, no need to be concerned, been too busy enjoying it!! Oh, & i left all the pics at home so couldnt upload them whilst at work ...
33.6mpg according to the trip computer for the France trip. Think the Trophy did 35 for a similar journey.
Been there 4/5 times now, just not to the old track...
So on the 10th August I picked up this little bad boy, proper review will come at a later date in my ownership thread, but for now, I thought id just put up some pictures. Apologies, my camera skillz are weak, but at least I didn’t use the iPhone4 this time round!! Done over 2k miles in it...
Not digital tuner no, if it was a full faced DAB it would a no brainer. More expensive one has Imprint, whatever that is. Thinks its down to looks tbh.
Currently pondering between the 2 headunits, but cant really work out the differences.
Have looked at various other units, but narrowed it down to these two. Both have bluetooth, cd player, ipod control etc. Cheaper one seems to do everything i want, but just wondering if its worth the extra...
I was getting 28mpg out of my 197 Cup. Which was 1mpg more than the e46 M3 that i had before & the same as my mk5 R32. My GP is averaging 34.
So yes, the mpg is rubbish.
