For simplicity, I'd do a visual check on the auxbelt and the camshaft seals. If they don't look brand new, alarm bells should start ringing.
I'm sure Fred or one of the specialists will have a better idea of what looks tired after a few years that should be changed etc....
Wrong. Let down by people who have no mechanical sympathy.
Same as 106/Saxo boxes- they're not particularly weak they just get given hell!
Also, some of the best cars on here imo are high milers. Nick's, Dave's, Fletch's are all awesome. I'd always pick a 100k miler over a 50k. My first Ph1...
Ollie can't possibly get his hair wet.
If any of you bail because of potential bad weather, i'm going to write on your cars in paint pen. And i'm not talking about the glass, either.
Ottershaw @ 7.30pm, or i'm taking it as free reign to do my worst while you sleep. x
Once the gearbox is off it's a doddle. Six bolts, all with easy access.
Just need to make sure it goes back on lined up and the clutch is in the correct way.
FLOL.
A 'mate'?!
Clare needs you to help her take her shoes off, you mean?
P.s. I want pics of you, your mate and the van or you're talking s**t and are a big fag.
PMSL. Nick had all of those things on his cup before it was RS2'd. Graphs on here show the difference.
Have you any experience driving/passengering in an ITB'd 1*2, RS2'd 1*2 or one with exhaust, remap and oh so special Maxogen? Just wondering..
On the back of the box? Just pull it and wiggle. Unless there's an 11mm bolt holding it in, but I have a feeling that's on 106's/Saxo's.. Lol.
EDIT: man up. No bolt holding it in.
Rear brakes don't have sliders, they have a piston that twists in and out.
I reckon you need to either strip it down and look into it, or buy a second hand caliper..
