Jesus, lucky escape then. Where were the axel stands placed? It happened to me on the Clio once where I had the front stands to far back on the chassis beams and when taking the rear wheels off it tipped forward. I just place them right next to the a-frames now, no issues since.

Doubt it mate. Think I'm gonna give them a miss and get some new AR1's or R888r's. Recently had another bad experience on ebay with a used pair of Direzza''s this time, so I'm loosing faith with used eBay track tyres. Slicks are even more of a mine field by the sound of it.

Found myself what looks like a decent set of used Dunlop SP Sport slicks but it seems some race slicks don't have a manufacturing date. Guy said he purchased them 12 months ago from a Clio cup race team and they stated they has only completed 15 laps from new. So my question, what is the life...

Budgeting £4k+ for paint is madness on a £1k car. Sell it and buy an immaculate example with super low miles.

Would you not just have it wrapped, cheaper and loads of great colours to choose from.

Mine's a 2nd car used mainly for track with the very occasional road blast. I'm on a mirrored 3k limited mileage policy which is only £25 per month, plus I only tax it on track months, so around 8 months out the year. So it only costs me around £500 a year to run. IMO if not used on track its...

Mine on 40mm springs with 15" wheels...

Not sure how spacers are going to reduce that arch gap, surely it is what it is...you'll be needing 40mm springs to solve it IMO.

Both should fit mate, only thing you may need is the top bolts for the top mounts if the strut thread is different. BCs DR's are the best option from the above IMO.

ABS isn't a bad thing on track if it's a good system, but in a 1*2 its utter site! Its so unsophisticated it's untrue, it actually makes the car dangerous with aggressive pads in my opinion. I've even pulled the abs fuse at times in the wet as 50/50 bais is more predictable. So yeah rip it out...

Its probably due to track work being carried out over the winter and the heavy goods vehicles spilt fluids on the grass, or maybe a marshal took a pi$$ on the grass pre-race! Either way its BS, I can understand getting a wheel on the grass and it spinning you like a top as that's real life, but...

Anyone noticed the downshift delay? Its a feature that was added in the 2.0 patch...'downshift protection' its so you cant bang down the gears to aid slowing down under braking, you now need to time it so it doesn't hit the limiter on each downshift. I thought it was another bug, but seems not...

Mine blows slightly and I changed the box oil via the butterfly screw cap. Its been doing this for 2 years now, its probably the breather seal but its so minimal I've just left it.

The recommended setting on the machine was -0.7mm either side so about right to factory.
