After looking into this quite a lot I concluded that there is going to be jack s**t difference between a clean paper element and an aftermarket one.
I mean the aftermarket one will be more "free flowing" as such but the increased surface area of the paper element will compensate for this.
What fuel are you using? Try some higher octane fuel and hopefully the values will reduce.

Someone I know has a bmw remapped took in back under warranty for a clutch they noticed the rev limit was higher and they still did it but apperently the guy was a geezer. Down to there discretion at the end of the day.
