Yeah grease is required where the strut brace fits into place, i never used enough grease when i put mine on and after a week or so it starting to rub slightly, took it off and applied lots more grease, not a sound now
If its been well looked after that is a big bonus, what series williams is it your after? maybe ask a few members on here who own one or have owned one, there the best to speak to on what are the pros and cons, the biggest issue really would be reliability as the car been quite old, as for pros...
Whats the spec on the williams your looking at buying? i.e mileage e.t.c, remember its gonna be a very old car so its essential it has been looked after, i know there very prone to rust and when they break its a costly fix
Yeah ive had all the same problems, had my contract for about 4 years and all my phones keep breaking, they send them off for repair, leave your without a phone, get a crappy refurbed one back then that breaks, then when your phone is not in stock for a replacement they offer you a different...
I seem to recall someone asking for this before and im almost certain ktec sell it seperately, its just not listed on there website, give them i call im sure they will sort you one out
Put it this way, i had mine rr the other day and my cup pulled 161.3bhp with matched inlets and jms induction setup, then after a custom remap it pulled 171.4bhp, feels so much quicker than standard and pulls alot harder throughout the gears, dont be dissappointed with the results it means nothing
£295 plus VAT, read some reviews about Paul at rstuning he knows his stuff, not heard a bad review about him or rstuning, people on here will back this up to :D
You will notice the remap the most, just had a custom map done at rstuning, managed to get another 10bhp :D if you want to do a remap by youself then look at an rstuner
Yeah standard ecu's can be easily mapped, lots of them out there, generic ones and custom maps, if you loose your cat you will lose maybe 2bhp max, not noticeable at all
Serviced in july last year, only owned the car since november, but i have just had the oil changed about 1k miles ago, not sure about spark plugs, this advisable to do?
Its probs just me to be honest but its just that i thought alone the jms induction setup gives 10bhp and matched inlets another 5bhp maybe? so should i have been making about 170ish with these mods
Hi guys,
Basically i had an rr yesterday and my car never produced the bhp i was kinda expecting, paul as rstuning said 172 normally pull about 160bhp, mine pulled 161bhp and thats with matched inlets and jms induction setup, i had my timing belt done just before xmas from my local renault...
Mine sits just below max level normally, the book says it should be in between min and max, will i need to take some of mine out or will it be ok how it is?
Hi guys,
Searched a few threads here but cant seem to find anything, had my car to rstuning today and when paul had it on the rollers he noticed the engine coolant level was quite high above max level, its always been just under the max level normally, once the engine has cooled down it drops...
Yeah only just realised they had a phone number :o as explained to Tom a recall someone saying they dont have a works telephone, anyway thanks Tom for sorting the induction setup in rapid time :D
Hi guys,
Been trying to get in contact with JMS for a couple of days now, left pm's, emails, posted in there threads but still nothing, maybe they dont want my money :S anyone know another way to contact them
Cheers
Dean
They dont check under the car to see weather the lambdas are connected, if its passes there emissions when they test it then its passed, its the cat itself which limits all the emissions not the lambdas, you will be fine mot time :D
