I'd take them off, don't really suit Arctic Blue to be honest.
Having said that, I have owned my 182 nearly 3 and half years now and whilst cleaning the car yesterday I thought about removing mine.
Looks amazing, great pics!
I have an 05 Cup - great cars! Another cheap and easy mod is to paint the washer jet blanks the same colour as the car, they look out of place in black (IMO).
Lovely car and pics though! :)
Get it serviced and then try and sell it? I wouldn't buy a car that should have had its 36k service done. If there are things wrong with the car people will put in low-ball offers sadly :(
My old workplace had that policy! Not used to all this old stuff :(
The screen does kill my eyes, I might have a word with them but I complained before and they weren't interested. I work for a very small company that only has about 8 office based staff.
The difference is that your 19in CRT is probably a high end monitor.... mine is a £50 piece of Dell sh*t lol.
They are stuck in the dark ages here... :(
I started a new job a couple of months ago and the pc I have been given is so old! I am a web/graphic designer and I am using an archaic 17in CRT which is just shocking for graphics work.
Brought my laptop in from home to work on (I have a widescreen Vaio with the X-black screen so perfect) and...
Although I have both I only ever use my laptop. My laptop is 18 months old now and still runs like a dream.
I don't play games anymore (have a Xbox 360 for that) so a laptop is ideal. Can't even remember the last time I switched my desktop on!
I wish work would give me a laptop though, got an...
I always use them and then with Quidco as well you can get an extra £1.50
You won't get as much as you would by selling on ebay but it's a LOT less hassle!
Hi,
I have a 2005 182 Cup and would like to run a cable from the engine bay into the car so I can operate a switch.
Are there any pre-drilled holes or will I have to take the dash off? :(
Thanks in advance!
Lol, some good roads nearby! I haven't seen you for a while. Do you know the person who owns the white Evo 5 who parks in your space in Wallingford?
Whoops, sorry for hijacking the thread!
Hi julzh! You will have to come along to the next meet by the way!
The place is Grange Auto Services in Ewelme. He did the brakes on my Clio a couple of years ago and also used to do all the work on my Saxo.
Very small garage and I don't think he has a diagnostic machine but he can do all the...
Why not mate? I thought they were ok! Had two services there. Ok, my 36k service was very expensive (about £705) but they seemed to make a good job.
For us Shire people Portsmouth is quite a trek to get your car serviced, now mine is just out of warranty I think I will take it to my local...
Sorry to hear that :(
Also, your brakes don't work as well in reverse.
Personally, if I was in the situation I would take it to a good bodyshop and get them to take a look and then decide what to do. You never know, it might be fixable and might not cost that much.
Good luck and try not to...
The stripes aren't actually a standard feature though, they are an 'optional extra'. It's like the Cup packs on the 'Full Fat' 182, some people think they should be declared and others don't. I think AliasOmega has done the right thing personally as insurance companies will do anything not to...
Correct, I had to declare the stripes with Elephant and they said this. Now I am with another insurer and although they know about the stripes they said its ok.
