@dann2707 .
I should get my hands on the Megan's wiring diagram tomorrow , so I'll get the info straight to you .
Great progress on the build so far . Looking good [emoji4]
Yes completely removed it all except heating . no issues at all as no airbag ecu = no warning on dash .
Oh but I did remove the air con wiring all if it . Just left the fan speed wiring
The motor only bolts in one way as we all know . What you need to do is remove the wiper arm and operate the motor and wait for it to park .
Once parked , place the arm back on in the correct position and re-operate .
Report back what's happening
What has been mentioned above about the motor...
We had a little photo shoot at the end and we were all in those garages , I didn't see any pump .
Only saw an exhaust tied to the garage lol .
Some fella posted later on FB about attending that day , so I kindly said he'd left something behind .
I was there also @GrahamS .
Hopefully I wasn't one of the bell ends lol . Car [emoji102] really good out on track .
I remember seeing a blue Clio I undertook at the left hander at the bottom of the back straight after the chicane , not sure if it was yourself or the other blue Clio , but...
I run Et 40 on TD 1.2s , but saying that I run 16mm spacers also .
I've heard the 35-38et give you a wider track from the outset , so smaller thinner spacers needed to achieve a smaller Et on top .
Mine is exactly the same as to what you are describing , I drive with in on max whilst moving around slowly , and then I have a liked setting for general driving , and when on the motorway driving to track it's about half way . Really does stiffen the feel to prevent it from being to twitchy as...
I've grooved and dimpled discs , and I read about the poss juddering in which these could give off . Can't say I've had any issues with them really . But the RC8s are getting fitted before Bedford on the 25th , so I've got a set of Brembo HC discs off george @ RTR . My thinking was , entry...
Make sure the knob that turns the hot moves [emoji817] % .
If that's ok then it'll be a blockage in the heater matrix.
Check the outlet hose temperatures .
Question is , if they aim to fetch a premium , its wether or not it's worth spending a few quid to redo the rewards later .
For me it's a love affair , love this car .
Good luck with finding a good one .
First test the resistance of the rotary switch and see if the measurements are smooth and increase / decrease the readings . If ok , then it's more than likely a motor issue . Measure the voltage at the motor or ecu output during motion from lock to lock at different switch points . Your looking...
The switch for the light switch is in the lock mechanism .
Take off the rear boot trim and you'll see two connectors for it , one for the CDL solenoid and the other for a micro switch with in the lock mechanism .
Very early Clio's had a black push type switch that the tailgate pressed against...
Oil is thicker when hotter , so stays about just that little bit longer when sloshing about at hotter temps
